Nike x OFF-WHITE Collection Thread - Rest In Peace Virgil Abloh

I assume it’s just Nike QC but does the word placement vary on the AM 90 between pairs? I compared my new replacement pair to my stolen one’s pictures and it’s ever so slightly off. Will upload pics once I get home

I got my taxes back the first week of February, I already did my income tax splurge with the two pairs of 90’s then ... oops lmao

I'm always a late filer lol. But this year I got extra extra back due to my recent marital status. So I just splurged as well.

Can someone help me with a legit check on these Desert Ore's that just came in. Couple things I noticed that I am just not sure what to look for. The box is pretty big for one, I feel like they could be for size 14's and not 11.5. Also the extra material that is kinda flapping or folding around the ankle collar? Is this normal? Here's a few pics. Appreciate everyone help. Love the shoes in person.

Shoes are legit. Box is normal. My black 90’s I got from SNKRS app and the box is about 20% larger than it needs to be. My desert ore’s from StockX are the same way.

you toss the blazers out? lol

EDIT: still lol, what you gonna do when you eventually sell the AHE blazers since you don't wear them. Put back dirty teal laces or be like I lost them fam

SX won't care. I bought a pair of AHE and they were missing one of the teal laces. Emailed SX and they told me to suck a ****.

you got played then, not once has Stockx declined me for a flaw (usually box damage). Something as big as missing a spare set of laces would've definitely gotten me a refund.

Was wondering if it’s normal that the letters are slightly off. I’m assuming it’s just Nike QC, but one can never be too sure when it’s not straight from Nike. Both pairs are from SX. First one got stolen so I just wanted to confirm my replacement pair was good before I rip the tags off

How did you get the Replacement from StockX?

Going through something similar

Nah I've known dudes who got refunds refused even though the shoes were missing insoles. They'll just quote their ToS to you and tell you that that stuff isn't guaranteed.

In my experience, StockX has been a breeze to work with. They refunded me for a pair of Acronym Vapormax's because the left shoe felt 'loose'. I did send in a bunch of pictures showing how the tongue was stitched too far down, causing heel slip in the shoe. They took them back.

My second experience was the Off White Mercurials. They didn't come with the drawstring bag in the box. I wrote in and they immediately prompted me with a return/refund.

I had another experience where they gave me a free-shipping code.

I think the problem probably lies in people not writing a concise email detailing the aspects of their problems (and probably not including proper pictures citing their argument).

I also had a great experience asking if I could return a pair of Jordan 13's flint's because of discoloring, they let me think about them for almost 2 weeks and then said still no problem returning as long as they were still in the same condition as received.

It seems like it really depends on who you get. I emailed them the minute I opened the box and explained the problem and this was the response I got. I then went on to ask if that meant I was free to sell the shoes back on sx and was told I could, so long as it was still in ds condition. Either way, I just went and bought another pair off goat so I could have the laces. Now I'm just sitting here with 2 pairs of AHE blazers deciding when to sell this single lace pair off.

yeah it could be case to case, but it seems very unlucky to get a CS rep that would screw you over like that. A credit card chargeback overrides everything. Even tho you don't gotta really explain to your CC, but you could just simply say you ordered something and it was not provided in full.

I've also sent something to stockx missing just the hang tag and they refused it and said its incomplete. I feel like that ToS they sent you is more lenient on cheaper stuff, but for something as high valued as OW, they should know everything needs to be provided or you'll have an unhappy buyer with the option to chargeback.

if that was me, I would've immediately sold it back on Stockx and waited to see if they would email back saying "hey you're missing the spare laces", then I would've stretched my knuckles and typed the meanest longest response about how they just sold it to me like that

Gentlemen

Need help with a legit check for a recent sale I made on eBay for the OW Converse 2.0

The following are the pictures from my listing

I was sent the following photo from the buyer. The shoe on the left is mine and the one on the right is another pair he’s comparing it against.
AD1DECAB-1278-4CF5-B5A4-4A6440035BD6.png

The dilemma is that the zip tie on my shoe has the teeth inward and is “dull” orange with the text facing up. The pair on the right has the teeth outward and a brighter orange color to it, with the text facing the back of the shoe. This shoe is a size 11.5, which also came with proof of purchase. Mine is a size 9.

I bought these direct from Nike via desktop when the restock occurred back in December 2018.

Can anyone who’s purchased a pair (NDC, GOAT, StockX) confirm if their pair has the zip tie with the teeth inward like mine.

I’m not sure if this is just a QC issue or a matter of turning the zip tie inside out but just wanted to get feedback on the matter.

Thanks in advance.

yeah as long as you like it and if you had that spare. But if I only had one DO, I wouldn't have traded for GR
