Complexcons and momas are ok, regular all black/white af1 low with some extra branding, lil splash of color, and a unfinished tongue and sockliner. Simple, and ill gladly take either one over a regular pair of forces but to me the ghosting looks like a whole new af1, dig the clear midsole alot, the deconstruct-esque style is official, looks like some futuristic joint

Yeah I agree the blue tint looks clean and wish it could stay like that long term

How the clear vapor max air unit will hold up with oxidation, will it yellow, if so how bad?

Then

How long does the vapor max air unit last.
? Not talking beating them into the ground I assume Nike stress test them. I mean Overtime the air unit should dry out and crack?

Like In 10 years all these off white vapor maxes will be useless because of cracking dry cracked air units. Which is basically the whole bottom of the shoe?

It won't - these white and black pairs look so, un-inspired compared to the OG version.

Will I still go for both? Yes.

But yeah, these 2018 models look so basic.

So offer was accepted for the white VM. Hopefully will have in hand by the end of the week.

Anyone with the orange vapor max or presto laces willing to swap for the black laces with orange tips from the ghosting pairs?

The new Vapormax’s you could argue are better than the OG.


The OG Presto is CLEARLY a lot better than these two. The black pair is alright, the all white pair is meh.
