I don't know whether to keep playing in my Kobes or retiring all of them. Feels like I'm straight up disrespecting them by beating them up.

I'm debating the same, I might simply retire all my still DS Kobes!

It wouldn’t be disrespect because Kobe would want players to keep playing in his shoes to carry on his legacy on the court. We all have a little Kobe Bryant in all of us!

Sad day indeed. The 4s got me started into this "sneaker game" and most of my collection are Kobe's.

I parted with most of my collection of 4s and 5s from 2009-2010 but now I'm gonna hold on to what I have left which is my Big Stage Aways. I cannot man

Man reseller are un-freaking believable you find out that an nba and basketball legend passes tragically and your first thought is to raise the price on his shoes so you can make a profit. I really hope Nike does something special and releases a bunch of his jerseys for his true fans!

Only Kobe’s I have now after downsizing are the Grinches, Chaos Protro and All Star 11’s. Keeping those forever.

Honestly though after hearing today's news. Will we see any Protros ever again? I guess Nike needs permission from Vanessa and family but it could be a very while (maybe not) until we see a Kobe model being sold.

If for nothing else, out of respect.

In time it will feel ok here and there, but everything just changed. If you're a big Kobe fan, hold your memories and memorabilia tight.

Y’all are crazy if you think Nike will stop releasing Kobe’s, especially Protros. If anything they’ll make more rather than less due to increased demand. Nike won’t leave money on the table look at how they dealt with the China thing.
