Niketalk has any film production company ever used your property for filming?

Hi

So someone came to my house today - work for a CBS show - Elementary with Lucy Liu - and asked if I would be interested in having my home be used as a location to be filmed for the television series

I'm interested but I was wondering if anyone has experience with this?

How much did you make?
Overall experience?

not personally, but i know someone whose apartment was used for the movie "the town". the director or whoever decided they liked the look of it. the family that lived there got a few grand and they put them up in a swanky hotel for a few weeks i believe. it's funny too cause there's only 2 or 3 scenes that they used it in. (it's ben affleck's girls apartment in the movie)
