Nintendo is about 2 years away from releasing a cellphone. They'll do what the Ngage should've done...

Main points of the Direct

-NEW 3DS announced
Features:
C stick like the GameCube
ZR & ZL buttons added
Ability to view 3D at an angle
Faster download speeds
Upgraded CPU
Micro SD slot
NFC reader in the touch screen
Famicon colored buttons for the small model
Interchangeable face and back plates for the small model

Games were also announced. The big one for me was the Xenoblade port that I think is exclusive to the NEW 3DS since it has a better CPU.

Final Fantasy Explorers was announced which features a live battle style life Kingdom Hearts instead of a turn based.

Bravely Default for the Sequel was shown.

A new One Piece 2D fighting game was announced.

A new Atlus game was shown.

Is this NEW 3DS going to come to the US?  And will these games also come here?

Nintendo would be dumb not to release the new 3DS in the states, O see them releasing it this Holiday season with a Smash Bros & Free Amiibo bundle. Would sell like hot cakes.

The games I also see coming stateside.

Final Fantasy is almost a given seeing how Square Enix games have done on 3DS same with Bravely.

One Piece will more than likely come out since the most recent one came to Wii U and 3DS.

The Atlus game is up in the air for me but with how well SMTV did I would say it's a good chance.

Those charging docks look nice.

Faceplates for the small version (I'm tempted to get the small 3DS just to customize my system), I'll put them in the Spoiler since it's a lot of pictures.

One thing I noticed from the video during the faceplate demo was that the theme of the OS also changed to reflect the faceplates, I wonder if a download code is included with the purchase of the plates cause that would be awesome.

I haven't been playing Wii U for a bit, I let my younger brother take it with him to Philly when he went to visit some family so I won't be able to play it for a bit.

Yeah, so far they've only announced release for Japan, and now I read that it won't launch in editor Europe or NA until 2105 which I think is a missed opportunity for them to make good money this Holiday.

I think they more concerned with getting Wii u sales up
They know the new 3ds will sell
But they probably wanna just hold off
Especially since they know people are going to buy it
But they also don't wanna alienate the people who JUST bought a 3ds as well
I know I would be a lil heated if I JUST bought one and they release the new one
Them holding off will assure that customers won't be upset
And again especially since they want people to pick up the Wii u
We know the 3ds will sell
It's the Wii u they worried about
But I think they will turn it around
