Basically all the Wii U games on my system memory no longer work. NSMBU loaded at first them crashed. Wind Waker HD never made it past the splash screen. My Virtual Console games seem to still work or at least Mother 1 does, havent tried any others yet but it sucks I cant even redownload these now.

Wish I would have tested out everything when they announced they were closing the eshop... but I never had any issues in the past and my Wii U stays connected abd doung auto updates even tho I never played it. Nintendo stays disappointing me.

No, sounds like a hardware corruption problem. Sickest part of it is buying Wii U disc games that doest provide a digital download if ever their brittle discs become unreadable. It's worst enough paying for them with premium price.

All my discs are fine and still work... Im not worried about them becoming unplayable. What sucks is that all those digital games are useless since I cant redownload them.

Universal Pictures Reportedly Developing 'The Legend of Zelda' Adaptation​

Nintendo‘s The Legend of Zelda could be the next big screen video game adaptation.

In a recent episode with The Hot Mic podcast, film critic Jeff Sneider revealed that he’s heard rumors of Universal Pictures picking up the Nintendo title. “I’m told that Universal is, in fact, closing a ‘big deal’ with the Nintendo corporation for The Legend of Zelda,” he said. “Zelda is looking like the next big Illumination-Nintendo franchise, which we were all sort of expecting. I’m told that is happening.”

Furthermore, he noted that Universal will be spending a “pretty penny” on the creation of the Zelda adaptation as The Super Mario Bros. Movie managed to gross $1 billion USD worldwide and make history as the highest-grossing video game movie adaptation.

There's just no pull to TotK for me.

I have little urge to play it most days. When I do boot up the Switch, I often just play Tetris 99 for a while, then do a little Zelda or do a little Zelda then switch over to Tetris 99.

It's good. There's nothing wrong with it. Just not getting its hooks in.

not gonna hold you but Destiny is probably the last game that had me rushing home from work/calling out to play. miss them days.

Im looking forward to playing it after I beat BotW, which should be soon as I just finished unlocking all of the map. Still 3 more divine beasts the best, and I need to make it up death mountian with out catching fire. Hopefully it doesnt take me 6 years to get into TotK. Lol

I had actually been struggling to play it because of how slow the opening segment is with the shrines/temple. Just finally completed all that and now ready to traverse Hyrule. I think things will pick up for me now, but I'll keep you posted.

what do you guys think the chances of Nintendo announcing a new system in 2024 is?

After beating TotK I dont thin theres going to be any other games I want to play on the switch. Thinking about trading it in at GameStop.

Same. Felt the same way about BOTW too. Admittedly though, I’ve always had short attention spans for anything other than Pokémon games. It’s got nothing to do with the quality of the game and more so to do with this feeling that I’m not making any progress. I don’t think that even has to do with pacing either, it was the flood of videos that came out with all the constructs people have built to beat bosses and such while I’m still wandering around with a rusted sword

I own the game though so at some point I’ll pick it up and play it again. I believe it’s as good as people say it is I just have to be in the right head space for it
