I called my local Gamestop like an hour ago an they still had them for preorder, I highly doubt they'll have them by the time I leave my job so I'm tight that I won't be able to get it. I missed out on the Skull Kid edition too :{ :{

just copped the N3DS Monster Hunter 4 Edition. i purchased my 3DSXL about 2 weeks ago for $130. i aint even mad, hopefully i can still get that trade in value of $100 tho..

also i havent played a Metroid game since like the NES days i used to love it. im inerested in the Metroid Prime Trilogy but i dont own a WiiU. if there anyway i can still play it?

And can be played with the gamepad? Copped when i get home
You can play on your gamepad but you still I have to use the Wiimote and nunchuck. If games allowed you to use the classic controller then you can use the gamepad to actually play that game.

Unfortuantely Galaxy 2 only allowed you to use the Wiimote and nunchuck. Therefore, you cannot play with the gamepad

My damn right trigger on my 3dsxl ain't working good anymore
I think cause of smash 3ds
Can't wait for the new 3ds

Maaaaaaaaan I'm so damn hyped
Nintendo is always clutch

  • Games with an announced release date: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (available now), Donkey Kong Country Returns (Jan. 22nd) and Metroid Prime Trilogy (Jan 29th). All of these titles will cost $20 (or regional equivalent), but they will be on sale for half price ($10 or regional equivalent) during their first week on the eShop.
  • Games planned for future release, without specific release dates given: Kirby's Adventure Wii, Punch-Out!!, Pandora's Tower and Sin & Punishment: Star Successor.
  • The Wii U Gamepad can be now used for both off-screen play AND as a control method in games that originally supported the Wii Classic Controller (Pro).
  • Of the titles announced for Europe and the US, only Pandora's Tower and Sin & Punishment support the CCP.
  • This means that, at this very moment, we do not know whether this feature will be implemented as a system-wide option or it will be restricted to eShop versions of Wii games. We will have to wait and see for any official confirmation on either possibility.
  • There is no support for the Wii U Pro Controller or GameCube controller via adapter.
  • eShop/Virtual Console Wii games are not HD remasters. They are the exact same Wii game that you can buy on disc, with the added advantage of not having to swap discs and being capable of skipping the vWii menu. The game seems to be running in vWii mode, for all intents and purposes (no Miiverse, Wii U menu, etc.).
  • The Wii U Gamepad has a built-in sensor bar that can be used instead of the external one included with the Wii and Wii U. You still need a Wiimote + Nunchuk to play Super Mario Galaxy 2 (and any other game other than S&P and Pandora's Tower!).

Metroid Prime for 10 dollars? Gotta do that

I tried the Metroid Prime Trilogy on the regular wii, was so pumped when 1 came out, but for some reason, playing that game gave me the biggest headache. I really wanted to get into it too, just couldn't.

Same thing with The Unfinished Swan on PS3, I really wanted to enjoy it, but the headache man.

Just got Wii U and 3DSXL...

So far I have MK8, WWHD, Mario 3d for Wii U,
and Bravely Default, Tales of the Abyss, pokemon 3d, a link between worlds, DQ 5, 6 & 9..

Anything Else I should grab for either system? 8o

I'm sorry I didn't understand the notice above. Will the Wii-U pad/Pro controller be usable for the Wii titles? I really don't want to have to use the Wii remote.

If you were able to use the classic controller on the Wii then yes. If you were only able to play with the wiimoteand nunchuck then you can only use that. The only games that you will be able to use the gamepad for are Pandora's Tower and Sin and Punishment which are coming out later.
