I must be the only person on earth that hated tropical freeze but played the snes games religiously.
Maybe because I have a jail broken PS3 and played both and got 100%+ recently and played tropical freeze directly after I have a different opinion...
But it's not comparable to the older games to me. It's lacking in music and gameplay in comparison to any of the snes games IMHO.
It's also just not fun to die 1590 times from cheapness.
And I'm not one of these newer casual gamers that doesn't like hard ****. I'm from the contra era and beat all of those old hard nes games before codes were widespread and before strategy guides existed. There are dope aspects and concepts in tropical freeze but I felt like they could have done more and some things differently.
For the love of God let us switch characters like the older games and let us play as who we want to from the start. The boss fights having 4 parts, each lengthy is wack. The music was wack.

I'm a diddy player for what it's worth. Don't like that slow ****. Give me going fast through bramble risking my life any day over slow *** dk or slower Dixie. also bring back kremlings.

except nobody wants to talk about the music since david wise did it but its just not anywhere near as good as the snes games. even the third one. i dunno...just felt like they could have done so much more.

Some sort of membership
And will unify all their devices supposedly
And including pc and smartphones
Ip will be developed for those platforms as well

I don't know what to think about the new system. Gonna patiently wait for more info. I love the gamepad. If there isn't some type of way to p,ay off screen I'll be very upset.

I hate all of the controllers for the Wii U. gamepad is too big and the pro controller feels awkward to me (I thinks it's the location of the thumb sticks)

Copped a New 3DS last week and have barely touched it. I wish America got the regular sized version instead of the XL but the quality on the screen is great! I briefly played Alpha Sapphire and Phoenix Wright vs. Prof Layton but I haven't been able to find time to play anything. Just bought an xbox one as well and that's barely getting touched 
And tropical freeze slander won't be tolerated. Beautiful game! And the soundtrack takes me back to my Snes days. Playing DKC all day and crying to my sister because I'm stuck on a jump

Made a post the other day about being stuck on the last stage of Super Mario 3D World for about a month. Me n my girl died about 300 times total just on that stage but we finally beat it. Euphoria. Euphoria everywhere.
Got all 380 stars. All 85 stamps. 100% complete. Feelsgoodman.jpg
Now we need a new multiplayer game. Those that have played Tropical Freeze and Donkey Kong Country Returns for Wii -- how similar are they?
Also, anybody got a release date for Yoshi Wooly World? That's multiplayer too right?

I don't like the gamepad for the most part, but being able to play games off my tv is pretty clutch.
I hope portable games reach that level of fun/depth, unlike the portable gaming options that are out right now.
The only games I felt the gamepad was necessary for was pikmin 3 and captain toad.
Not to mention it's poor battery life and it not being in hd.

I just registered for Mew2 on SSB. And I realized I never registered any NC coins online. So I went in and put all my codes in. Hit platinum and was able to get New Super Mario Bros 2 and original Legend of Zelda for 3ds for free.

If anyone is still looking for the skull kid majoras mask check your local best buys. Friend called me saying they got 3 in today.
Picked up one for myself and another friend.
For anyone in norcal. The best buy stock system showed sf best buy on geary I believe had like 7. Santa rosa best buy had like 13. dublin, mountain view, and pleasantan had a few also if i remember correctly. Dont know how accurate that stock info is but thats what the computer showed. Worth giving them a call tomorrow.
My friend said they are possibly cancelled pre orders.
