Damn 11 hours that's real. Not mad. I want to get a switch on April 28th when MK 8 comes out. By that time I'll have have plenty of extra dough for the pro controller, battery etc. along with bomberman, 1-2 switch, maybe snipperclips.

Gonna play Zelda on NES and see how I feel. Never been a Zelda fan but I'm intrigued.

You won't be able to just walk into a store and casually buy a Switch by them time yet

I actually think the box size is a function of branding. A bigger case means more shelf space and in the minds of the average consumer, "bigger is better." It's a subtle way to make sure consumers think the Switch games have the same status and quality as the competition. Plus Nintendo has trained users to associate smaller cases handhelds... so having a bigger box actually is a measure to prevents market ambiguity. These game cases are not too big or too small. Plus it's impressive to see such a big game like Zelda:BOTW on such a small cart as soon as you open it.

Every marketing decision with this system is so well thought out. The bright red in the retail space, the now famous "Switch" sound, the placement of ads at key events. Nintendo is doing a damn good job so far.

Just look at the simplicity of this logo....

The logo with the red and white contrast that draws from the Japanese flag and mimics the yin and yang. At the same time is the facsimile of the actual Switch controller. And the name Switch is just catchy and memorable... So dope

I've already stated I like the hardware, just gimme that hardcore gamer bundle that has a pro controller instead of those joycons.

I had the Super Mario 3D World 32 GB bundle...GameStop was offering $120 and Amazon was offering $150. I thought that was low so ended up selling it locally for $180 on Craigs.

I only went back to GameStop to let go my remaining games since they had that 50% promo towards the Switch games/accessories.

Wow, $180? That's good. Ive been trying to sell my Wii U for months on Craigs. I have the the 32 GB with Mario Kart 8. Including Super smash bros, Mario 3D world, Donkey Kong tropical freeze, and a pro controller (brand new never opened). I was asking $200 for everything and everyone was low balling with $150 offers for everything. Decided to keep it. I don't play it much tho. Lol.

Gamestop just called me to inform me that they'll be releasing the pre-ordered Switch on Thursday at midnight. Inquired about the pro controller but they'll sold out at the store. May find it elsewhere if the joy cons are not up to par.

I've owned a gamecube, wii, several handhelds, and a wiiu.

Based on that experience, I can make the assumption that the joycons aren't for me.

Yea my experience with the Atari 2600 and the Coleco Vision has me wondering why Nintendo just didn't give us a joystick and one button... these shoulder buttons and all these buttons with rumble are not for me

People who already have funds in their accounts on other Nintendo devices can access them using a shared wallet that works on Nintendo Switch as well. Virtual Console games will not be available on Nintendo Switch at launch. We will share more information in the future.

From what I've read, Best Buy, GameStop and ToysRUs might be your best bet homie. I know they said GS is getting extra consoles, just unsure of how many. Might have to get there early. Same with BB.. they usually always deliver with the extras as long as you're there early. And I've only heard that TRU might be a good spot to hit up on RD.
