My 7 year old playing his first Zelda
He playing a link between worlds
He just got the master sword
Brought a tear to my eye
Doing it all by himself

Wish my little brother rocked with Zelda like that. I might have to force it on him, he will thank me in the long run.

Yeah I tell my sons if you cant figure it out, then you dont need to play. He jumped on youtube and tried to find a walkthrough

This is what my little brother does, its annoying as hell to watch. I get on him all the time about it, he should feel bad about it. Despicable :{

every child of mine will be forced to figure out how to beat brock in yellow version without any help

Let's not act like you all never used gamefaqs.
Not when I was that young, hell I didnt even have reliable internet until my early X360 days but occasionally while at school I'd sneak on cheatplanet and get some codes for Tony Hawk
laugh.gif

Seriously though, I look at some of the games I beat when I was younger and Im truly amazed. I beat some pretty good ones before I hit age 9 i.e. Earthbound, A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy VI, Super Castlevania IV, Symphony of the Night etc. Seeing as how I havent replayed some of the games mentioned, Im sure some were easier than than I remember and could be beaten by damn near anyone

I've beaten that game more times than I can count. Once a year at minimum. The greatest video game ever made.

Only beat Master Quest once. I have OoT 3DS which has Master Quest included so I will get that done eventually.

Nintendo doesn’t license out their name or properties all that often, but we’re glad they did for this – a real-life version of Mario Kart that is ready to hit the road. Red shells not included, regrettably.

Jakks Pacific is behind the Super Mario Kart Ride-On Vehicle, which kids can actually drive around. I’m pretty sure that makes this the Lamborghini of the world of kiddie vehicles. The kart is rechargeable, and can hold up to 70 pounds. There are even off- and on-road tires that you can switch between, which makes this even better than an in-game Mario Kart vehicle! Because I’m sure there are no shortage of Mario Kart players out there who would love to slap some off-road tires on their karts, especially on those snow courses.

The sounds are all there, too! There’s a horn, and a full array of Mario Kart 7 sound effects. So, no, maybe there is no real-life Starman, but at least you can get the sweet power-up music going while you’re cruising around. Don’t think it’ll knock traffic out of the way, though.

The real-life Mario Kart can speed into your kid’s garage for $200.

If I had a house I buy one for me. I dont have kids but dammit I want one

Let's not act like you all never used gamefaqs.

Exactly

Haha. Kids are the best excuse to buy **** that you can't rationalize buying for yourself. If I didn't have a son, I'd be buying stuff if ever my nieces or nephews came over to my house.

So I bought link to the past on the wii u ($8.49 with tax)

2 issues with it.. Not a big deal but..

It's not wide screen so I got black bars on the side.. But then again if they made it wide screen it might just look stretched out?

And there's no way to turn the game pad screen off and still play. I know this is true with all games on the wii u.. But it's still annoying.

Woudve made more sense if they used the second screen for the pause menu.. That way u could swap between boomerang/arrows/ice wand thing without having to pause..

But none the less.. Forgot how fun these old school games can be.. And how different they are compared to today's game.. You actually need just explore to figure out what to do..

My wife came home from work.. And she was like.. "That sounds like the song from Zelda? 8o... Are u playing Zelda?" And proceeded to snatch the remote :lol

NEWEGG DESCRIPTION SAYS YOU CAN DESIGN YOUR OWN TRACKS IN MARIO KART 8
FEBRUARY 21, 2014

Online retailer NewEgg currently has Mario Kart 8 up for pre-order.
The interesting thing is is that the description says that gamers will be able to customise their vehicles and build their own tracks in the game.
This hasn’t been confirmed by Nintendo, but if this is true then it’s a more than welcome addition to the Mario Kart franchise.

DIDDY KONG JOINS SUPER SMASH BROS. FOR NINTENDO 3DS AND WII U
FEBRUARY 21, 2014

Diddy Kong has been confirmed as a playable character for the next Super Smash Bros. game.
Series director Masahiro Sakurai announced the news via Miiverse today to coincide with the launch of Donkey Kong Country:
Tropical Freeze in North America and Europe. Diddy’s flexibility has been increased for the upcoming fighting title, according to Sakurai.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U is scheduled to release this year.

I think everyone is coming back from Brawl with the exception of Ike and a different variation of Pokemon trainer. They'll just be adding characters on top. Maybe 50-55 characters? Waiting on that Chrom reveal... :smokin
