NT Book Club Vol. WDYRTD

Has anyone read:
7 highly effective habits of effective people
The Magic of Thinking big?

Books I'm sure everyone's heard about. Trying to decide on my next book.

It's easily one of the worst books I've ever read.
Just gets waaaaaayyy to overly ambitious and convulted and drags.
Damn that's wild I did the audio book a couple years ago and thought it was really well done..even the voice acting was superb.

Not sure about the sequel but I found the first one to be worth my 15 bucks.

Currently reading Razorblade Tears by SA Cosby

Yeah the first one is dope as hell, and I have listened to the audio which is also presented really well. 2nd one just lost the magic the first one had IMO and it tried horribly to try to duplicate it.

Thanks for that. I read some of the comment on amazon, but we all know how those are. Your statment does line up with a lot of those, so i'm def not going to waste my time.
The first one was really good though.

Man I keep forgetting about this thread been on a tear lately

Currently in a lull
Deciding on if I want to continue with Poly and read PolySecure
or
Read Neuromancer by William Gibson

So I was reading this book:
mindshift book.jpg

It turned out to be not exactly helpful to what I was looking for.

So, I decided to finally read:
magic of thinking big.jpg

Going to read these two after:

Then I might start reading some storied fiction books.

Reading fiction right now.
Been terrible at reading so far. But starting to get into it again.

This one book, informed me to schedule an exact time you will read during the day for 15 to 30 mins if possible. No negotiation unless dire.

Also, I can't really read in relaxed positions, so in order to be more active, I stand 80 percent of the time I read. If I sit, i'm way to passive with my attention.

Just curious, do you guys avoid reading books that were translated from a language you don't speak? Fiction in particular

Finished "The Magic of Thinking Big" today.
1 of the 3 books I want to read this month.

Seeing how we're at the 21st I'll most likely only squeeze one book in.
Trying to figure out which book it will be now.

No shade but there really should be a fiction and nonfiction thread. I don't read nonfiction at all

Same. I am an avid reader but everything I read is for work. Journals, textbooks etc. Tryna change that though. Even unrelated stuff I read tends to be nonfiction politics, history etc

Book recommendations?

looking for:
Life growth
Adventurous
VR & AR based

or if anyone has some new dope modern reads they enjoyed.

crypto based?
easy A.I. fiction etc

Finished the newest Rick Ross book and basically done with Ego is the Enemy. Both excellent reads. This arrived yesterday, think I'll start on this next.
