NT, convince me "cutting the cord" is a good idea

Got an email from Hulu talking the same password sharing nonsense that Netflix started. Supposed to go in effect next month
I don’t know if you read the whole email: You saw the thing where they said, if you’re an existing subscriber, and if you don’t “acknowledge” the new agreement on the device next time you launch it, it doesn’t go into effect for you until March 14th?

I'm not even using ESPN+, just the ESPN app through a provider though I assume it's similar. The video constantly just stops playing, I dread looking at the playoffs schedule and seeing ESPN.
Disney’s too busy creating the Agatha witch show no one will watch

ESPN is going to be implemented into D+.
That's the new ESPN standalone service that is launching next year I believe

There will be an upcharge for it

ESPN+ and the ESPN app for cable subscribers that exist now will still be around after the new service is launched from my understanding.

So even if the new service is better, someone like me that uses that user the legacy apps will probably still be screwed

I'm not giving Disney extra money

ESPN+ on Apple TV is the worst. I have to do some combination of resetting, force quit, logout then back in every time I want to watch something.

You would expect cable companies to offer more discounts and better deals to fight against cord cutting but no. optimum keeps increasing my damn bill. Customer service won’t give me any discounts. Gonna call retention and threaten to cancel and see if they offer anything.
