Hey Niketalk, I'd appreciate your help. I have acne (yea, laugh it up), and its not getting any better. I've had it for about a year. I tried"AcneFree Severe" treatment, which is basically like a 4 piece set, and it didn't work at all. So, i would like you to recommend me some goodstuff to use. I'm half black/half white, if that matters. here's a pic, not of me

at those zits and your avy. Was dude all right?
My advice is go speak to a dermatologist, But in the
meantime avoid touching your face period. You know
how much nasty stuff you put your hands on throughout the day?

That pic is disgusting

But yeah, the best thing to do is go to the dermatologist. Different face washes work for different people. And don't touch/pick (

) your face at all!

Do they have dermatologists at Kaiser? Ok, i don't really touch my face that much, but i'll stop ASAP. yea dude in the avy survived. he had concussion, whiplash, and broken ankles though.

Man I feel you on this one... I'm a damn 27 year old man and I just started breaking out again for the first time since I was like 17.

But I had moderate acne all through high school and have tried about everything there is to try. My advice to you would be hit up a dermatologist if you haveinsurance. I've used most of the over the counter stuff with OK results, but when I was younger the only thing that ever really did anything was oralantibiotics and retin A. Even then I did still have acne until my derm put me on acutane which cleared it up asap. The issue with acutane is the side effectsare ridiculous (super dry/red skin, had to get a blood test once a month, would get wierd dry patches on my body, etc.) and most derms don't give it outunless ou are a severe case.

Personally I just try to get a set routine and I find that works well. I would never miss taking my antibiotic, and would do so at the same time roughly everyday, and I never miss using whatever cream treatment I have and try to use those at the same time every day. I also take vitamin A&D, a multi and Vitamin Cto help keep my skin realatively healthy, I'm not sure how much effect that has, but it isn't hurting me in any event.

Again try to avoid touching your face as much as possible, keep it properly moisterized, and pay attention to how you are shaving because that can causebreakouts especaily on your neck area.

Try using the the regimen at acne.org. It's a lot cheaper if you dont' have insurance. A lot of sucess stories on there as well. I'v been on it fora few years and it has DRAMATICALLY helped to clear my face.

What you need to do is go to a dermatologist. If over the counter treatments aren't working, then you're just going to waste more and more money tryingstuff that won't help. A dermatologist will give you a personal treatment and prescribe what is right for you. Google nearby dermatologists and schedule anappointment.

im glad my acne never got like that..jesus..
i cant suggest anything..all the things that have worked for others never worked for me.. but go to a dermatologist..

If you use this method you gotta use the best soap from the heavens up above. And that's dove.

i h havent found anything either. my acnes isnt that nasty red stuff. they are just bumps you squeeze them and white stuff comes out(nh). it doesnt even getred. its like tiny goose bumps. no matter how many i squeeze they are always there. from far you couldnt tell they are there but upclose in the mirror its abunch of them and it gets so my nerves.

Accutane. If you don't have insurance get it and pay for it cause accutane w/o is so expensive.

I suggest you stay away from drug store products. They're so harsh that your skin responds harshly, one of the effects being that in some people your skinwill create excess natural oils to moisturize itself. Stay away from using 10 diff products on your face as well, sometimes less is more. Look into stuff likeBaxter Lab, MenScience, Anthony Logistics. Try the baxter oil-free face wash, then their herbal toner and finish it off with their oil-free moisturizer. Theface wash is gentle but effective, the toner soothes and cleans a little more and the moisturizer goes on very light and leaves a very matte finish so you skinfeels clean. But definitely talk to a dermatologist as well

If it helps, DO NOT USE PROACTIVE!
Stuff is like crack for your face.
If you do use it and then stop, your acne acts up like its on viagra.
