Im writing a character letter to a judge for a close friend. Will this show up on my record/ anywhere else for employers or schools to see? He went in for something pretty bad

I know its public record, so how likely would it be that an employer/school would see it? I might even want to work for the gov later on...

For drafting a character letter? No.

If you were charged with something, yes.

If you gave a statement, it’ll be on record but unless someone search for the “paperwork” that will not show up on YOUR background check.
