Ah I see what you're saying.
I was more so checking for songs with the curses edited out. Now that you mention it, if being played for kids,I'm sure it would be a better idea to leave out the sex and drugs as well. Finding music that fits those standards seems like a task
right.
for example, one of the first songs that came to my mind was Nas - I Know I Can
but then i thought about him describing sniffing coke and smoking weed and ice
which isnt necessarily bad, the message is good for maybe preteens and teens, but for kids 10 and under? nah.
oddly enough the clean version of Brige the Gap by Nas is very kid friendly
like i said in the other thread, im kinda disappointed that the hiphop community hasnt dont more to produce music for kids
its ironic considering hiphop is labeled immature and/or for kids
meaning, if you're an adult people often talk about growing out of listening to hiphop
yet when you pay attention to the lyrics, hiphop is hardly even for kids
