NT reccommend me an E-Readers

I wanna get my mom one for Christmas. I've done a little bit of research and I'm leaning towards a Kindle. Her friend swears by her Nook but I'm not sure. She's more than likely just gonna use it to read but the more features the better.
My price range is around $150-$200.

I too want a reader. I'm thinking about the kindle fire.

I was talking to the wife about this today too. I wish paper books came with a redeemable code for an e version. Sort of like how some blu rays come with a digital copy.

I got my parents a Nook Color and they love it. One thing that made it an easy buy for me was the ability to add extra memory via micro SD. The Nook Color has it, the Kindles/Fire do not.
