NT, Recommend me a new vehicle Vol. 2nd Car

Forget getting most of these rides posted so far. For 5k just search around CL for the newest/least miles Toyota/Lexus you can buy and forget about it. Look into a 4runner or Tacoma. Easily one of the most reliable vehicles on the road and decent on gas.

Don't do this if you're already low on cash, I just sold a sc400 (1992) with 92k and it was nothing but trouble.  The repairs (which weren't too frequent) were very expensive because it's a lexus and it was an older model.  Also mine was a V8 (the sc300) is a v6 but I had to use premium and I got 18 miles pergallon.  "It's now how much you pay for the car, it's what you put into it after you pay for it."

If your gonna get a car for 5k i expect you to mod it. It doesnt have to be heavily modded though.

The LS400 is nice. but idk if it can be had for 5k.
