eastbay.com has various models of NBA socks for 4.99 to 9.99, very thick and dark dye that doesn't fade like Nike cotton ones do. Other brands too for under 9.99

The Adidas Team Speed socks are very comfortable...I just don't wear them with shorts tho.

Go to a footlocker in the hood on any Jordan release day. You should see a dude selling socks for the low. Elbow had 3 cuts: the low ankle, 3/4, and tube. Your guy might not have the deep selection though. For like 3 dollars you get a 10pc. Be warned all the tube socks WILL be slightly different lengths.

Unless I'm hooping I ain't spending more than $5 for socks. I'm already losing for paying $200+ for shoes. I ain't getting squeezed for 1/5th of that for socks.

I just got a new batch of them for xmas. My previous pairs had to have lasted a year at least before they started getting holes in them. The ones I posted kept the comfiness too

Keeps your feet cool.

Only downside is the price. $16 for 3 pairs.
