Cliff notes:

-I sold CDP XI XII for a little over retail

-I shipped the shoes and confirmation says it arrived

-Guy is from Spain or something and says to ship the shoes to his sister in Florida (sorry no pics of her sister)

-Address I shipped it to was the same address on the paypal

-Sister says she never got it and they are working with their post office to get the shoes

-Guy puts a dispute on my empty paypal account (i usually transfer all the money out to my bank account)

What do you guys think? What should I do? I've never been in this type of situation before. I am in NO WAY a scammer. I have refs on NT, ISS, and eBay andI definitely sent the shoes.

UPDATE:
So I decided to just take the L and take half the money versus losing all my money. He agreed to lift the paypal claim then I will immediately give him halfthe money. He also wants me to send him some informal agreement saying the exact thing:

I want you to answer this mail as a binding contract. My lawyer
is the appointed Witness: Advokatfirma Unneland & Co

for info go to: http://adv-unneland.no/

When buyer (XX) terminate this pay pal claim for not receiving item XXX you (STATE FULL name) will pay
buyer (XXX) half of the price of the item totaling at
$184. If i (name) do not send the amount asked with in 1 hour
after termination of claim. I (name) agree to pay full amount of
the item totaling at $XXX.

What do ya'll think? Thanks.

ANOTHER UPDATE

I told him what's what and told him I'll just wait to see what paypal does. He lifted the paypal dispute butstill wants me to give him half the money back. This was about a week ago. Can he take anymore action against me?

I hope you sent to the address in the paypal payment and if it was over $250 you need signature.

i did a confirmation (the ones for 50 cents or so) but i'm not sure if it was signature. the shoes was actually shipped to Florida, not spain because thatswhat he wanted.

You didn't ship to the address on the paypal site so you are screwed. The protection policy won't cover you. The confirmation you got was only regularDelivery, not signature confirmation. So she could say it was stolen or something and that she never got it, and there would be no proof.

You can try to fight it anyways though :-\

sorry to bring the bad news

just take the L if you didn't send to the address provided by the paypal payment.

i shipped it to the address the paypal provided and i believe it is verified:

Payment From:
XXXXXX (The sender of this payment is Non-U.S. - Verified)

He got u.

You didnt ship to the address paypal has on file.

You have to send it to the address of the payment sender.

ALWAYS send things signature confirmation.

And if its overseas, you send it Express Mail ONLY.

That way you get a tracking number with it.

Good Luck.

i hope you get your issue resolved after you wrote this.

i think you might be kinda SOL cuz you shipped to a different address than the one on the paypal account.

shipping to the address that came with the paypal payment, good move!

shipping the package without signature confirmation, bad move!

any packages shipped with a value over $250 must have signature confirmation placed on the package to be covered under the seller protection.

you will most likely lose the dispute, but good luck!

man that is BS. is there anything I can do?

I feel for you OP because I just had a dispute filed against me, but I know dude was trying to pull a fast one and I still have all the info from when Ishipped the kicks. Hopefully it'll be enough to prove that the dude is trying to rip me off. Hopefully you'll be able to work it out some how though.

that e-mail looks fake.

That's totally suspect. You said he was in Spain? but his sister is in Florida? and his lawyer is in Norway?

I smell a rat.

so dude basically got the shoes for half price? that really sucks. i guess the lesson learned here is to utilize signature confirmation.

You're going to lose all of your money if you can't somehow prove he received the package. (Even if he really did)

the mailman said he remembered dropping off the package, thats about all I got. I also have the confirmation, but not signature confirmation. Should I just gothrough and take half the money? Or could he scam that out of me as well?

Also, if does win, can I refute the claim again and keep this going?
