Its exactly what you’re describing. It’s just money that you’ve already won. If I win $500 off a $100 bet, I’m up $400. Anything gambled Of that $400 is house money. Some may feel less inclined to see house money losses as true losses. Or they’ll do bets they normally wouldn’t. Some feel it’s free money so to speak. In my example, say I bet $100 on that 1H under . I’m up $91. I then use the $91 house money for nfl bets. Easier said than done but the goal is to never break open your wallet with new money. Just build the bankroll.
I want to say casino books take a cut, so it’s all clean and legal in my state. I’ll tip change off the dollar but that’s about it.

Nets +7.5 would be my play tonight. Sixers get slaughtered by opposing guards, especially top guards, so with Kyrie back and the combo of Dinwiddie and LeVert the Nets should have no problem penetrating and scoring at the basket especially without Embiid anchoring the paint. Nets are also 2nd in total rebounds (Philly’s 9th) but again without Embiid, Jarret Allen should feast down low. Sixers have played .500 ball over their last 22 and have struggled to close out games this year. To win by 8 tonight, even at home, seems like too big a task for them.
HOWEVER, the nets can certainly shoot themselves out of a game - 6th most 3’s attempted per game but just 28th in 3pt percentage. If Philly can keep the turnovers down, get to the line, and shoot at least modestly from 3 they should win this game. I still don’t know if they cover though which is why I’d take the nets with the points.

I initially wanted action on Mertens, but she’s laying 5.5 games and the odds are **** for that. You’d have to lay 6 games in order for the odds to be worth it, and that’s just too much - even if it’s against Heather Watson.

you take what you can get. So many teams sitting near .500 in so many categories. For me. I try not to bet on toss ups like that.
Portland is 2-8 in their last 10 ats.Houston is 5-5 (4-0 at home ) ats in their last 10. The betting man in me says throw big money at Houston -8.5.

I do look at these ATS records too however there’s a part of me that expects teams to regress to the mean. So when a team is over performing I may be worried they’re getting too expensive and fade them... and vice versa. Take the team that’s 1-9 in their last 10 ATS etc. there’s really not a science to it imo, it’s a lot of gut feeling...

Very true. I bet exclusively on 'top' ATS and 'top' o/u NFL teams for a week or two, and didn't come out any better than standard 'guesses'. I even bet on the worse of the worse to see if they could come back up.
OKC is on quite the run, covering in 67% of their games.
No one saw Det beating Boston like they are. Raptors up 27 on red hot OKC. Sometimes we want to call ourselves pros or educated but sometimes that luck factor is what it's all about.
I would've lost big if I bet on NBA tonight. The last two nights were relatively predictable. Tonight is a cluster
