Yea I always get burned betting the Pack too... I've done it once this year... Wanted to badly yesterday too but laid off.

The Cowboys +4.5 was a good look though. Just didn't turn out the W.

im from philly....i learned my lesson mid way through this season...never again..although i took the saints tonite i also took the over but im up went from being up 180 to 120...oh well..makes up for the past couple weeks.

most houses will cap prop bets like politics and stuff like that. it would be very difficult to walk into a vegas casino and drop $25K to bet on the winner of Dancing with the Stars or something ridiculous like that.

glad to see that this thread is back and running. havent been visiting S&T really in awhile.

I refuse to touch NBA because its just so hard to read. NFL and MMA is where its at. I've gotten a bit better with bankroll management this year which isnt nearly as fun, but is more profitable.

Line has moved a touch, but if any of you guys can get better than -300 on Rich Franklin this weekend I would advise it. I got in early at -280, and I think its an excellent price.

I'm also liking Dong Hyun Kim although the price has been steadily climbing. I got in at -215, and like him up to -240. I think the fact that he's fighting in Asia is going to be a huge advantage.

Live dog might be Tiequan Zhang. I always feel that something funny happens with the judging in these international UFC cards. Hometown kid (well hes from Beijing not Macau, but still) might get the benefit of the doubt in a close decision.

I'll try to jump in this thread earlier next time for MMA stuff in case anyone likes to bet it and wants to bounce ideas off one another.

Anyone betting tonights game? I'm leaning under, only because I dont know how JAX is gonna put points up on the board. I'm just concerned that Indy is going to have a mental letdown after their inspired win for Pagano last week. If Indy is slow out of the gates, JAX might be able to put a few points up which could spell trouble.
