Thinking about doing this Parlay tonight...

Cavs +6. taking the spread.

Kansas and Duke to win straight up.

thoughts? I'm pretty confident, but that Duke scares me a little bit...UK underdogs? 8o

Same thing I thought, that being said I jumped on Kentucky +4. On that same ticket i had Davidson +6(win) and Hawaii -13(push).
Second parlay;

Harvard +10
Temple -4
St. Johns -5

Do any of you have consistent succes (in gambling terms at least) betting on basektball?

In my opinion it's the hardest of all to bet with all the bs garbage buckets and what not.

I tend to think if you're hitting on a 60% clip (given same wager amount) then you're golden. Or, if you hit on more of the bigger unit plays.

For me, on average, I can hit 3 football games out of 5. With basketball, it's more like 1 out of 4.

Thats why I hate betting on low spreads due to fouling at the end of games. Those free throws kill me

@651 i do well enough to kep making plays on them and i agree with yves and tend to stay away from low spreads

Hmm...I wouldn't mind getting into basketball a bit more, but I need a strategy. Staying away from low spreads is a start.

:lol

...with that said, i'll take the Wiz +1.5 1u
edit: Adding KU -3.5 1u ...got it at a bad line
Going to try and keep a record for all my bets I post from here on out.

bovada is a great starting point, but as you start to understand lines, you'll want to move away. very limited options.

I know this has been asked a million times, but whats a good site to start placing NFL bets?

I love me some sportsbook.ag. Wasn't rated highly last I checked, but I'm not sure why. I've always been a loyal customer. I live in the Washington State, which sportsbook (and others) have stopped taking on as new customers (Washington laws), but since I was already a "customer" they allowed me to stay. Anyway....Here's what I like about them:

- Straightforward user interface and it's easy to navigate/understand

- Quick payouts. It varies depending on your method of choice, but I'm required to do MoneyGram (Washington laws again prohibit other methods) and my payout is already processed from my w/d request I made last night.

- One free w/d every calendar month.

- The amount you deposit is the amount you get to bet. A lot of sites take a percentage away from your deposit.

- Progressive Parlays! If you know what you're doing and love parlays, but are worried about the risk...This is the option and not many sites offer them. I can explain if need be.

Very interested in this. Please explain.
