***$$$-NT Sportsbook Thread vol.2- Props props props props props props... EVERYBODY!

I wouldn't doubt him, I took CU this morning and thought I was screwed with an injury when I checked the line later.

I just can't understand the rational for that one aside from CU struggling on the road.

i have a feeling a lot of people are going to be on this, but what do you guys think of Bengals & knicks ML parlay for tomorrow?
it sure looks great on paper...

I'm going Eagles +4.5 and the under 45. I see this game ending with score like 21-17 or so and the fact that it's in Philly makes me feel confident that the Foles/Brown combo that's been coming on, will keep the game close.

eagles is the right side, but i cant bet on nick foles....he could single handily be responsible for 4 turnovers..

pass

Disagree about Eagles being the play... I think Bengals come back and play good football after dropping a game they should have won last week.

Can I get some assistance with Round Robin and how it works?

In your specific Round Robin, it breaks down the games so that each team is included in a 2-team (2-way) parlay with every other team. Of the 2 team parlays, there are 28 possible combinations with 8 teams involved. You win or lose based on each 2-team parlay as opposed to needing all teams to win. If all teams win though, you of course get a bigger payout. Round Robins spread out the risk considerably so that your hedged against a team or two that will lose.

Only thing I don't like is that if you drop $100 on an 8-team round robin, you're only betting $3.57 for each two team parlay because the 28 total bets is divided by the $100.

Play For Today (7-2 since 11/30):
Bengals/ Eagles Under 46

Still kicking myself for not putting extra units on Colorado and putting money on the Warriors game.

this one killed me....I can't believe Philly is this bad....

Sick to my stomache right now.

On another note, anyone watch WWE? 5Dimes has odds for this Sunday.

So I could have taken a pick'em -1600 or a -1/2 spread -1400?

How the hell are those different? Why wouldn't I take the .5 spread and win more money?

Either way the team I bet on just has to win. No matter what, a win by the team I bet on whether it's 1 or 20, wins me money, right?

Why would Vegas even offer that option? I feel like I must be totally missing something.

that's where vegas gets you though. Look at the juice you're paying for those #s (-1600 & -1400) :x
that would drive a lot of people away from betting it

As far as I know a pickem is there just in case there's a tie. It's useful in soccer but doesn't really matter much in the NFL. And you don't necessarily win more money with the spread...you just put down less.

I was so mad last night. I wanted to throw my computer, but just tossed it on the bed instead.

My bets were looking sooooo good until those BS stupid turnovers. Not cool.

It's a parlay though... so there are like 3 other teams. I'm actually risking 100 to win 227.

But that's what I mean.... it's an NBA bet! NO ties. Why would they have a .5 point spread option earn me more than a pick-em? How is that not the same thing in basketball?
