Lost $450 on the Jets win.... :smh:

It was $50 of my own money, but I had built it up. Either way. :x

WOW i thought i was doing it when i hit my 25$ 8-team baseball parlay for 2100, but this dude just blew me away ahh

can't confirm, but according a local radio host, some dude in houston bet some money on matt schaub throwing a pick 6 against the seahawks and won 35 grand. then pockets 25 grand, and puts 10 grand on matt schuab to throw a pick 6 against the 49ers at 25/1. 250 thousand dollars :x

You're a Patriots fan? You really don't think so. I'll be all over them, not a believer in the Saints.

man i dunno. i would have bet anything that the saints would have been favored in this game. hoping vegas knows something

last time we played the saints we got EMBARRASSED. granted, it was in the dome. but still. that said, pats losing 2 in a row and at home? they've got more than a swinging chance with gronk back.

EDIT: and i wasn't laughing at you...more so the spread on the game. just can't believe it. doesn't that translate to the saints being 1 point favorites if the game was in NO?

Yeah, I didn't think you were.

Saints are farrrrr away from home. Pats at home, not losing two in a row. Gronk back, crowd fired up. This is my favorite play of the year so far.

Vegas doesn't know anything honestly. They just have their "power ratings" and us (public) has ours. They just tend to differ greatly because many people take week to week game results too much into account.

Line surprised me too...was expecting this game to be a pick or saints -1

But at the same time I can't remember the last time the pats were dogs at home

Thoughs on tomorrows game 5? Leaning towards the under on 6.5. Detroit has really struggled to score in Oakland all year. I expect JV to bring his A game.

Michigan at Penn State...UM -2.5

Gotta be something up here, I know UM isn't that good but...Someone tell me I'm an idiot to put money on them?

Not gonna say you're an idiot but penn st will be out for blood after getting embarrassed by Indiana...Michigan is the perfect offense for their defense to face after being killed last Saturday

Def a perfectly set line imo

Funniest line this weekend is Wisconsin being -10.5 over northwestern ....I'm just staying the hell away...reminds me of fsu/Clemson and nd/ok games last year

You also have two defeated teams playing each other that avg less than 10 points a game this Saturday...total is set at 45 which is kinda high given that stat (Miami oh vs umass)

That's what I've been saying to myself, but how does IU go through Penn State like that smh.

And Jake Ryan back? I'm thinking they hafta cover, but I don't trust Gardner.

My boy put 16k on UM to cover.

Indiana offense is actually decent and penn st offense isn't good enough to be in a high scoring game like that....game remained close until the 4th when Indiana dropped 22 points on them

I don't understand the Saints-Patriots line.

1. The Saints defense is better than New England's, their offense is better than New England's and they've played better teams most would believe.

2 (after I saw this thread). Deadset, one of the Patriots fans on here, super surprised that his own team is the favorite in a home game? Another underrated sign

But when's the last time the pats have been dogs at home?

I just can't see the saints being favored in this game from a linemakers point of view ...on a neutral field the game would be a pk (as of right now with their records)

Home field has the possibility of factoring in, but I think the Saints are a much better team than they are right now, who are getting a lot of credit on their record and history. They haven't impressed me in any showing, and I believe they would have lost to the Jets (once I saw the two teams matched up) if the weather hadn't been so awful. Tampa while talented, is obviously imploding at this point, and their season has yet to ever be on track because of it. Atlanta didn't impress anyone, and now the injury to Julio gives them a cop-out, unless people can remember history in its linear form. That leaves their squeaker over the once-again-lest-than-.500 Buffalo Bills, and a 7-point lost to the Bengals in a pick'em.

Anyway, enough to equal out to maybe a 4-8 point win for the Saints for me.

But in the nfl -3 is a very popular opening number amongst close teams

And from there you will see the public either bet it down or bet the fav and cause the vig to increase ...cause rarely will they move -3 to -3.5 in the nfl

Before the line opened I figured it would be a pk....I think saints being favored would've caused the pats to get hammered as a home dog by sharps and squares

All about perception in the nfl...

That Patriots line really surprises you guys?

-Saints a much different team on the road. Granted they went to Chicago and won last week.

-New England coming off a loss is excellent, not to mention they get to come back home.
-Saints are good, and on a neutral field they would be favored by a few. But at NE coming off of a loss? No way.

-JPZ, you know just saying Team A has a better offense and a better defense, they should win is not how you bet games. Just saying.

Really don't think that the points will matter in this one. Whoever wins, covers. Will be a good one to watch. It's my biggest play of the NFL season.

....

Penn State got embarrassed last week, and it was probably because they were looking forward to this game. It's homecoming, the crowd will be ******g rocking. Not sure if Penn State wins but that is who I would be on. I teased them up.

-Penn State +10/LSU PK
