I've been on a tear lately. I hope it doesn't come to bite me. I've upped my wagers considerably in the past week and overall I'm 13-2.

I can't just leave it at that though. I'd be doing you a disservice if I didn't caution you. Not trying to be smug or sound like your father or anything, but it never hurts to hear from someone else...Especially me, because I was right where you are this last weekend. Be cautious. A couple bad breaks on the upped-ante bets and you may start to the catchup game and lose most of you're hard work.
I don't follow my own advice, but if I was able to stay patient and even take breaks here and there while being more selective with my bets then this would be my full-time job.

I've done well the past while, and I was afraid of boosting my units. I did that last year and ended up losing the money I won on bets I should have chilled on. I did the math and had I kept the same usual bets that I do I would have still made a lot of money last year. This year I took the Mojodmonkey approach. (some of you know him and some may not) but I set a limit to my spending. I put up a set amount and after I lost that I would be done. This year I got down to 200. About to call the year a bad beat and re evaluate my wagering strategies. The past month has been glorious. Not wagering crazy, but it does seem I'm coming up.
That said. I'm not making any crazy wagers. I'll stick to my unit bets and I hope we all win money.

Just an edit, It has only been 13-2 this past 9 days that I've upped my bet that its been great. Just an FYI. Had a couple PMs and wanted to clarify that statement.
