Just an FYI since your guys are talking about Air Force under tonight. I think it was at 118. There are always exceptions to every rule but for the most part if a spread is under 120 you rarely want the over. Air Force is ranked as playing the 5th slowest pace in all of College Basketball. That's 343 of 347. Let's just say that is really really slow. Most days when there is a decently large number of games you can look at all the over/unders and simply bet the lowest one under and it will hit way more often than not. I had an exact percentage but my computer just crashed and I lost most of my spread sheets.
If this topic stays up I'll try and post in it every once in a while. Been betting on sports damn near my whole life. Best advice I can give is just bet a small amount of your bankroll at a time and you can make some money. Starting small also helps you learn the ropes. Betting on basketball in particular (regular season at least) is a lot more than A vs B. So much of it has to do with statistics and situations. I have a friend who knows almost every team and every player in college basketball. So much so that it boggles my mind. But he couldn't pick a spread to save his life.
Good luck to everyone in the future.
