NT still got ton of spyware running thru it?

Looks like im in deep at work, got some sort of a virus where after i sign in with my name and password on windows, my desktop screen never shows up and the icons dont either. Just the blank blue background.

After a few hours, i was finally able to see my desktop. And It turns out its some sort of a spyware program that alerts me that i got spyware, so i can use my CC # to buy the program so of course they can steal my CC # and identity...smh

My boss is going to be pissed, this happened a while back too, and our IT specialist accused me on going on porn...

I don't know how I am going to explain, I have never went on porn at work...i just go on NT, yahoo fantasy, and facebook myspace...

restart the pc go into safe move and restore your pc to like a week ago and yes its NT again

Just curious. What browser did you use to go on NT?

You have to have clicked on something. I'm a CS major and I just can't see how something online can download itself on to your computer, execute itself without user interaction, and take over your computer.

this same thing happened on my girl's computer, without the porn icons though just do a system restore, if you have a previous point saved, if not, there are instructions on how to remove it, just search the name of that spyware program that keeps popping up because thats whats messing up the computer and it will show you how to remove it.

when i searched it, they said that is exactly what happens by just goin to a specific site, it downloads itself and changes the proxy settings of internet explorer so you can only go to the spyware website to buy it... seems to only happen when using interenet explorer though if OP will remind me the name of the spyware thats popping up, I can find that site that I used, this just happend like 3 days ago to me

i found it, the one on her computer was called antivirus soft, is that what was on there OP? the site says its:
