I've only had a few honestly but same experience. Maybe it's my palette, I dunno. I'll keep drinking them though haha.

Yea I get what you're saying with combining the varieties of hops to get a more favorable outcome. I'm sure breweries do the single hop stuff to highlight what that particular hop tastes like.
What I don't get is why Societe's The Bachelor Mosaic is 4.42 on BA.

So I picked up a bottle of 2014 Sucre from The Bruery for $35 on impulse
Looks like I overpaid $5 or so based off the internet, but nonetheless, it was the only bottle they had left.
Haven't tried it yet but anyone have any experience with it? 16.9% alcohol.
Also, my local joint had 1 box of the sierra Nevada's beer camp left. Is that really worth buying for someone who doesn't care for IPA's or hoppy beer?

Went out to San Diego today to pick up barrel aged Monsters Park. Picked up 2 6 packs of grapefruit sculpin. Open up for trades. Had really amazing beer.

Monster park on rye tasted great. No carb problems in my opinion. Haven't had the Tennessee whiskey yet and I didn't get my hands on the coffee stout.

Cracked open the Merk for my bday. Got some really nice bourbon, vanilla and toasted coconut notes. Mouthfeel is thinner than I thought it would be but still pretty damn good.

Just went on a cruise and bought the unlimited drink package. There was a craft beer bar on the ship :x
Nothing out of theordinary though. But I did try the black and blue/black and white and now I'm hooked. I've had them before but something about it this time. Planning on making a black and tan with Pumpking tonight.

Awesome! My wife doesn't drink but maybe twice a year so we have absolutely nothing on common when it comes to anything alcoholic.

I drank a Smirnoff Ice last night because I finished the second half of a growler and didn't feel like opening a new one, but, wanted to have one more drink and that's all that was in the fridge. I felt so ashamed after.

Royal Caribbean. Specifically, I was on the Allure of the Seas.
$45/day all wine beer and premium liquors. But you have to do it for every day. You can't just wake up that day and say I'm doing the package today. So I had to buy the package up front on day 1 for all 7 days. Came out to around $400 or so. But I easily drank about a G or more of beer/liquor
Plus there's something about paying for something up front instead of actually seeing the money tally up when you buy each drink and sign the receipt. I'll be doing it every cruise from now on.

Picked up bottles of Rochefort 8 and 10 on the recommendation of a friend who works at a restaurant with mostly Belgian beers.
Haven't opened any of them yet, but from what he has told me, the 10 can go head to head and even beat out Westy 12.
