I find the balance I've been told. I wear my coats with a nice fitted button up, skinny dress pants or denim and chucks or boat shoes. You don't haveto put on a suit to wear a trenchcoat or full pea-coat. In fact the ones I buy aren't meant to be worn with suits. Modern-fit trench/ pea coats are moreversitile than you think

Wouldn't mind wearing it with dress pants and a tie. Again, it'sversitile.

yeah peacoats with casual stuff is cool

same with shorter cut (3/4 etc.) trenches

just full length trenches with jeans and a t-shirt seem kinda hard to do for me. not to say nobody can or should, just not my thing i guess.
