NT's LEGAL Gun Thread UPDATE...First Youtube Firearm Review Page 61

Finally got my shotgun. Nothing fancy though, just something for me to explore. Escort mp. Havent tried it out yet, hopefully this weekend.

My newest pickup.

Springfield XDm .40cal 4.5"

Picked it up Saturday, finally got to the range with it last night. LOVE it.

The trigger pull on this thing is amazing.

I've been wanting to see all the Magpul Dynamics videos but they aren't exactly cheap.
Certainly no stream anywhere either.

Love this gun.  The most ergonomically correct handgun I've tested right out of the box.
But I had to pass because of the palm safety, and the trigger safety.
I'm just too used to my Glock to purchase.

I Gonna Get XDM for my bday
But I wanna cop another Smith and wesson Sigma 40 .. ( maybe a 9mm) ..

for 350 you can't beat it

While firing, the grip safety isnt noticeable whatsoever. I guess it could be looked at as a hassle in other situations, like locking the slide back while the gun is empty, but thats something ive already gotten used to.

And the trigger safety is basically exactly the same as the Glock. ( I also own a g23) In my honest opinion, the trigger on the XDm is superior to the Glock. Its smoother and has a shorter reset.

But dont get me wrong, i still love my Glock.

Good looking XD... Are those the Air Freedom/extreme shock (whatever they are called) rounds in that one mag? I love my glocks, but i've been transitioning over to the 1911 crowd lately.

I been thinkin about tradin in my .45 XD for a .40 XDm but probably won't do it. I'm hittin the range in a couple weeks b/c my wiz's friend is comin to town and been beggin me. Should be a short lived exp. that day

The mag on the left is loaded with Federal Hydrashock personal defense.

On the right, theyre Hornady Critical Defense.

Anyone else like guns without all the bells, whistles, and specialized ammo?  Each to their own in the end.  Also how can you guys post your collection like this?  Doesn't it make you a tad uncomfortable?

Hack jobs by the people at Century Arms.  Battlefield pick ups slapped together on an American made stamped receiver originally designed for single stack magazines but cut out to fit hi-cap mags.  Weld, rivets, fit and finish is horrid, sloppy mag wobble, and chanted front sights is a very common issue but can be fixed.  But will it work?  Yes, the wasrs are probably one of the most popular affordable AK out on the market.   I was thinking about picking one up just to put it through a torture test ie. drag it up the mountain with a truck, stuff dirt and mud in it, submerging it in water, etc.

My absolute favorite is my Norinco NHM-90(AK-47) because it was my first real "mean looking" rifle.  I paid $210 for it along with 1 polytech 75rd drum which alone is a $200+ value, two 5rd mags, 1 30rd mag, and 100rds of Chinese Norinco steel core ammo.  If you check prices on an NHM on gunbroker, they go for atleast $500, and a legally and tastefully debanned rifle will fetch at least $700.  Chinese made AK's are arguably one of the best AKs you can get, really, preban Norincos and Polytechs are some of the most sought after and considered the "cadillacs" of AK47s, right beneath the type 3 milled Russian AK-47.

I really like weapons of the cold war.  AK's, Cetme's, Fals.  Wood grips and all.

I like my ARs, rails, foregrips, eotechs, and such but I got a soft spot for wood stocks and old school appeal.
