NYC heads...recommend a unique restaurant

I'm taking my female friend out tomorrow night, but I really don't feel like going somewhere normal, if you know what i mean. ive lived in the city forabout 7 years now, and i still don't know too many nice and cool restaurants to go to. so i need your help. suggestions?

Nobu at West 57th St b/w 6th and 5th.
TAO at East 58th St b/w madison and park.
BLT Steak is the best. My favorite. 57th b/w park and lex.
