OBSERVATION: Nike/Jordan brand slowing down the frequency of Retros being released?

What's going on everybody,

I was just looking at some of the release calendars that are floating around the internet and came to the conclusion that, in my opinion, Retros aren't being released as often as they have in the past. I say this with no certainty but even last year I felt a retro was dropping at least once every weekend and now between this month and next there will only be 4 Retro releases. Do any of you feel the same? Do you have a theory?

No doubt about that haha. But I was just wondering if there was a specific reasoning as opposed to complaining that there should or shouldn't be more.
