Hey fellow sneakerheads!! I found a pair of Off White Chicago 1s and it’s going for a real good price... almost too good. Supposibly dumping because he has a new addition of the family coming. There is a StockX tag but I found some people are able to put on fake tags. He supposibly picked this up @ a sneaker convention in NY and StockX verified there. He does have a big collection (500+ pairs) so I know he collects but would like others opinions. Of course I will check once more @ the meetup. Usually thru my experience when something is too good to be true it normally is! If you find anything let me know what’s fishy. Thanks in advance!

These look off to me and the story does not make sense to me.
I don't think StockX verifies shoes at sneaker con, I could be wrong, but it does not make any sense. Also don't trust anybody that sells brand new sneakers with StockX tags at a lower price then what they would profit on selling on StockX. If they bought from StockX then they can sell it back to them, it makes no sense to sell it elsewhere and lose money.
I don't know much about authenticating these as I do OW UNC's, but I do see some flaws. The wings logo look to big. The medial text on the right shoe looks smaller then the left. The stitching holes on the suede are hardly visible. They seem to have a text lace flaw, I don't know if this applies to OW Chicagos, but it does apply to OW UNC's. That is when the text on the lace is too far from the aglets.
