pats will get the guy they want, and have to pay less....they didn't want to pick too high, be tied into a ton of money for a rookie, its not their style

Wrong. They only moved down 3 spots, plus the guys they want (Cromartie, Rivers) will probably still be there. They are also lessening the cap hat andtrading their 5th round(essentially 6th rd) pick for a very high 3rd. Good trade overall.
