Mayweather vs Marquez
BoxingScene.com was advised by two sources who are close to the situation that a deal has been reached for Floyd Mayweather Jr. to fight Juan Manuel Marquez. The proposed date is July 18 on HBO pay-per-view. The two sides have been negotiating for several weeks and the biggest roadblock was the catch-weight. The exact weight was not disclosed to me, but from [what] I understand the two sides agreed on a weight below 145 pounds.

That would do it for me... in an ideal world I think, most of us would want this PBF vs JMM to go through... the winner should then fight the winner of thisPac vs. Hatton fight for a very very very very BIG PAY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (towards the end of 09')

Cosign. Exactly how I see it unfolding as well.

Yeah Floyd will have to come out if Manny wins ... be interesting to see if Sr and Jr hook back up considering Sr would have a lot of knowledge aboutManny's weaknesses after this.
And

at Manny feeling disrespected at the 50-50 contract but quicklyagreeing on a 52-48 split. Golden Boy Promotions dominates boxing.

I think Hatton will pull the upset. He's looking a lot faster with Mayweather SR.

But I would like to see Pacquiao win and force Mayweather to come back.

This is the truest quote I ever wrote
From the first to the last note
Hey Pac, it's over, so quit wishing on a four-leaf clover
You got a choice to make
You're at the crossroads
So make up your mind
You can go left or you can go right
And can't rely on anyone else
Come May 2, you'll be uncrowned
With your head hanging down
And left to confess
"The Hitman" is the best
Ain't no diggity, there ain't no doubt
Pac's gonna find out what it's all about
When you beat the old legend Oscar de la Hoya
He was over the hill
Now it's time for you to swallow the same damn pill
So it ain't no secret and I hope you know
It's Hitman Hatton by KO.

SR just like JR, both very flamboyant, i'm pretty sure manny had a smile too when he heard this coz he respects everybody and let his gloves do the talkinginside the ring, he even calls FM SR Coach as a sign of respect, can't wait for the fight on Sat
