I think a new era has begun.
I was like 10 at the time, and loved playing ball. They were nasty, gritty, and played hard defense. They were Patrick Ewing surrounded by role players that did what they needed to do, Anthony Mason, and Charles Oakley the enforcers, they represented the city beautifully. But they also broke our hearts, Charles Smith again??? John Starks, everyones favorite underdog in game 7 against houston, doing what he did best shoot the ball, except he wasn't making a damn thing. Our hearts were invested in them. My how the times have changed, ever since JVG left we just now are starting to recover..... IN DONNIE I TRUST!
