Lala threatening to knock Melo out too :lol

Now if only I could have added this option to the poll. "Robe with Olympic cap to the bodega Melo"

I remember trying to wear a robe to school when I was in elementary school. My mom laughed and thought I was joking. Then told me it was dumb as **** when she realized I wasn't joking.

Salute to Carmelo

Phil Jackson says his biggest mistake as president of the Knicks was turning down the chance to trade for Jae Crowder in the deal that sent Ray Felton and Tyson Chandler to Dallas in the summer of 2014. "I liked Crowder but I thought he wouldn't get much of a chance to play behind Carmelo, so I took the pick which turned out to be Cleanthony Early," Jackson said in an interview conducted after the season that was published Friday by Today's Fastbreak. Crowder would have been a phenomenal fit for the Knicks, so this misstep certainly hurt the franchise.
Sheesh. Crowder alone would've made that deal a clear win by this front office. Tyson might not have been at peak trade value, but I was never crazy about the return.

I appreciate Phil's honesty and candid self-reflection here though. Very few guys in his position would do that.

What. The. ****.

Crowder would've been perfect. And why wouldn't he & Melo be able to play together?

Question is where the hell do they live where they are in such close proximity to a corner store?

He look like he just copped some rollies. Been itching to blow down once Olympics was finished

phil messed up by doing that trade period because we ended up getting stuck with calderon with a longer contract.. good thing we got lucky and traded him in the rose trade though :lol

i like melo at the 4 offensively but not on defense... he was getting beat up during that 54 win season and messed up his shoulder because of KG... he definitely held his own that year but it took a toll on him

Don't even understand why he even plays SF outside of starting there considering his best season with the Knicks he was at the 4.

yeah i think at this point in his career he should play more PF depending on the matchup. these younger and more athletic SFs are too fast for him to guard at this point. you can see he was having some trouble with very active wings during the olympics. however thats why i liked lance, bc he could guard the lesser of the opposing forwards and give melo a break. it wouldve been the same case with crowder.
