I NEVER venture into another team's season threads but I gotta say from the tape I've seen of Porzingis pre draft I knew he would be the ******* TRUTH. Can't believe he got the boo's that he got on draft day.

As someone who was on record saying I wanted Kristaps before the draft, I was smiling from ear to ear when the Boos came in. I knew they were coming and not only did I expect them, but it was one of the reasons I wanted the Knicks to take him. He wouldnt be where he is now without the Boos.

Knicks fans are smart and Knicks fans care about their team. When you dont play well, we will let you hear it. We dont stand and clap all ******* game like they do in OKC. But when you earn our loyalty, its real, and no place will have your back harder.

If it were up to me, every single Knicks draft pick would get Booed like Porzingis did. A real NYC greeting. Something that says, "OK you're here, you're starting from the bottom, now go out and earn our ******* respect and admiration." If that is too much to ask then that player never stood a shot in NYC to begin with, because playing for the Knicks can and will suck the life out of you.

As Ewing said, "If you don't have a tough skin... get one."

I can dig that . Really is a microcosm of trying to "Make It" in NY.

I was definitely pissed at Phil for taking the "project" over the "sure thing" in Mudiay or Winslow but after hearing some interviews and watching him play in SL i was a fan. Love how he said he "has to turn these boos into cheers" on draft night. KP just gets it. He knows how to handle the media & he wants to be great.

Fast forward 5 months & he's making a bigger impact than anyone expected; can't wait to watch him develop in NY for the next 10 years.

I believe Okafor is still ahead in the ROY race beasting in philly but we all know why...it ain't out reach for KP though watch out!

Not much from me either but I will say that Oakfor dude on Philly got potential to be the next Tim Duncan.

With that said KP for ROY.

Both are getting better for the most part.

If this team doesn't constantly play like a 2 seed team it's cuz they're not a 2 seed team.

KAT, Okafor, KP and Winslow have been the stars of the draft so far. A few other players have looked real good too. Mudiay has had some great games but a little inconsistent.
