Phil Jackson says the spacing in the triangle offense needs to change due to the prevalence of the 3-point shot. "The 3-point line has become our affection, because it means more when we make a 3-point shot. So the spacing has changed dramatically," Jackson said Monday at an American Express event. "So the triangle can still be apart of that, but it has to adapt." Jackson did not explain how the spacing for the triangle needed to change. The Knicks run the triangle, and will continue to do so under new coach Jeff Hornacek.
Phil Jackson sounds bullish about the Knicks' playoff chances. In an interview with WNBC-TV, Jackson was asked if he still felt optimistic that New York could make the playoffs and "go even further." "Why not?" he said. "I don't see what's so great about what's here in the East. We can fill that role." The Knicks finished 32-50 in 2015-15, in 13th place in the East.
Phil Jackson to SNY on the Knicks' free agency needs in 2016: "You name it, we've got it, basically. We're just out getting talent."

I am just fine with either we trade Calderon for future draft pick (prefer future 1st) or ride the last year of his contract
Don't want Phil to make the same mistake like he traded expiring Chandler and cheaper pg Felton for Calderon
Y'all hear Shumpert didn't like Knicks fans when he was here?
