My guy! Finally copped legacy shorts. Really wanted Cincy pair but settled for UConn since my friend bought the reg 99 UConn off me.
Those denims are crazy!!First pairs of 19nine shorts. Little Phi Slamma Jamma action and denim Kentucky blues.
That’s cool cus I like lol
If you listen to some of their podcast episodes they have delved into what it takes and it seems difficult to get licensing..having SLAM helps them a lot nowIt would be VERY easy to replicate what they are doing as a company - there’s no MOAT at all, curious if they are looking to sell - they have this licensing deal with SLAM

The founders don’t seem to want to sell judging from podcast episodes..the dude Josh has put a lot of work into this company so much he left teaching after 17 years..
I like what they’re doing and other companies are doing college apparel but they seem to have found a great niche in the retro shorts..no complaints from me other than I want to see a UNC licensing
I would love to see if they could do some sort of ambassador program in the future (I want to be able to have a special discount code for us NT supporters)
I don’t even know where to start in making it so they’re the only ones making shorts and eliminate future competition - I’m not business savvy like that lolMy sister in law works in college licensing so I understand the nuances.
I haven’t listened to their podcast - I’ve talked to them on IG when they were starting. It seems like the business side is a bit short sighted - they aren’t thinking of growth in the right way to date.
Again - no MOAT makes it an easy business to replicate. I’d prefer they stay around - they just need help.
I agree on UNC (although with Jordan Brand power who knows right) - Duke, Ohio State, Oklahoma St, Oregon, San Diego St, Stanford, USC, Wichita St are also schools not on the roster right now (not sure if they ever were). If you listen to some of their podcast episodes they have delved into what it takes and it seems difficult to get licensing..having SLAM helps them a lot now

Thats even better! Glad to hear it! Now I’m looking forward to the Michigan one I orderedThat's actually a really cool collab. I've ordered gettees before because they're made in the USA and I love how they fit and feel.
I think you'll like it. Should be a nice thick heavy supima cotton that has a nice stretch and feel. And they're made in Detroit so I get why it's only Michigan teams.Thats even better! Glad to hear it! Now I’m looking forward to the Michigan one I ordered
