Alright NT I usually am stuck in the General forum when I'm on here but I really need your help. Picked up Chucky Atkins and Trevor Ariza the last two round but am now kinda regretting it. Luis Scola, Stevie Francis, McDyess, Turkgolu (SP?) are some of the players on the waiver wire. Any help you guys can provide is greatly appreciated:

I think that you'll struggle with points since Kevin Martin is your top scorer from last season. Brand doesn't count since he's on the shelf for so long. You should be competitive in steals with Iggy, K-Mart, and Ben Wallace. You'll be competitive in blocks too. You should be in the middle of the pack with turnovers... I think my team will lead the league in turnovers though :lol:

You going to do real good in points. Rebounds will be alright. Assist will be ehh. Randolph's numbers will probably be lower in NY. TO's will be high. Overall a good team though.

can u guys explain scoring in fantasy bball, i know football really good but not bball.

im in a yahoo league and the categories are

field goals made, 3pt made, FT's made, points, blocks, steals, rebounds, assits

is it just one point per category? (it doesn't specify in the settings page of my yahoo league, like it does for football)

cuz if its one point per category, then kobe would be by far the best.
 
If it's Roto:

Let's say there's 12 guys in a league. The person in first place in Points will get 12 points. The person in second place in Points will get 11 points and so on. The same goes for the other categories. Then these points get added up and that's how scoring works in Roto.

Dont pick up Belinelli at this point because Warriors have a lot of guards like Pietrus, Monta, AzuBuike, Barnes, Jackson. so we dont know how much playing time he will get. Honestly though if i had to guess, i would say he gets about 15 minutes a game and averages around 7-9 points.

Garnett, Howard and Jefferson? Damn you got rebounds and blocks on LOCK! Points will be good too. You will be hurting in assist and possibly steals. Iguodala and Stephen Jackson might give you some steals though. Try to trade for a better point guard though.

vrp32tl, your team will suffer on the boards. Camby is a blocks machine but Big Z isn't that prolific with the blocks. You won't necessarily suffer in that category but you could use another proven shot blocker to help out with Camby's 231 and Big Z's 98 blocks from last year. I'd pick up Scola and drop Trevor Ariza.


jay y kay, with Kidd, Calderon, and Jack... I think you'll be alright in assists. Kidd can help out Jermaine, Miller, Lee, Bynum (if he is indeed going to get the PT), Frye, Millsap, and the rest of your team on the boards. I'm just unsure of how many minutes Jack, Bynum, and Millsap will get. Your success will depend on their production.
