Official: 2008-2009 Fantasy Basketball Thread *Sticky*

am i the only one who is running low on games left...
i just checked and in one league, im in single digits in PG and SG

GSDOUBLEU: i would keep granger, artest is injury prone an josh smith often has horrible shooting nights.
bright nikes: im not sure about that, but i woul go with hinrich. he's been on fire lately, but wait for another opinion.

damn amare dropped another whack %#@ night for me 12/5 %$*

i should have put ramon sessions in 20points 4reb 7ast (0 or 1 turnover)

ahhhh

Help with this trade please.

I started with offering:

I give: Marcus Camby
I get: Andris Biedrins

I know Marcus Camby is a beast but I'm worried when Kaman and Randolph come back, his production and playing time will go down. I can probably kiss those10+ points and 20+ rebound games goodbye

.

The other manager countered with

I give: Marcus Camby, Russell Westbrook
I get: Andris Biedrins

So I'm like, "I'm giving up too much," so I asked for both Biedrins and Troy Murphy. If I need to replace Westbrook, I can pick up Sessionswho still is on the FA market.

Here's my team:

By the way, I realize I have Kaman on my team so I know his production will most likely go down as well

Also, is there something I don't know about Murphy? I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger.

Help me NT. This league is for money

damn paul, tough decision.

dont let wanting andris be a homer pick for you ... andris can be such a beast if nellie was consistent with his minutes and how hes used.

marcus camby is a damn monster ... but his health and that underacheiving team is always in question.

the dude asking for westbrook and camby for bierdens is pushing, but i like troy murphy (look at his gamelog and see how consistent he is, cus im not toofamiliar with him)

hm, who else do you have to drop?

i like felton and westbrook (im surprised hes still a fa)

monta anyday over felton. i wanted to trade him earlier on, but im glad i didnt. he may not score much, but those he his assists are something.
and paul on tilt: cambys production might drop a little, but i would hold on to him. no one can give 3+ blocks on a daily night, and with a double double. itsa risk, but im willingly to take it. out of 5leagues, i have him in 4

and i guess im the only one low on games left huh?

edit: monta+tmac+vince for durant+lewis?
im in a 7 team league, so it'll be easy to find someone. (mainly al harrington)
durants beasting, tmacs injury prone, monta+vince are shooting horrendously. good deal?

Yeah, it's basically Dwight Howard and Marcus Camby that can do that for you on a nightly basis... anyway, it's out of my hands now. Thetrade has been accepted.

I give:
Marcus Camby
Russell Westbrook

I get:
Andris Biedrins
Troy Murphy

Where I see I have an advantage in the deal:
- I get another 3pt shooter. I know I have Rashard, Hedo, Joe Johnson, Duhon, and LeBron but I'm not even that good in 3pt in my league. I'm sort ofmiddle of the pack so adding Troy Murphy will be a good thing.
- Andris Biedrins will soften the blow of me losing the blocking ability of Camby... but if it's a consolation, I still have Brook Lopez, Marc Gasol(though he doesn't block as many shots), LeBron, Tyrus Thomas, and Kaman (IL

). Kirilenko (due to injury) and Kendrick Perkins are still on the FA if Ineed blocks later on down the road. Plus, I'm going to keep a close eye on Tyson Chandler. I know he's having a down year but I'll still follow himclosely if he ever comes out of his slump.
- I can solidify my rebounding with two almost automatic double double machines in Troy Murphy and Andris Biedrins.
- I know I said it before but I'll say it again. I can afford to lose Westbrook because if I need help on assists later on down the road, I can pick upSessions or even Kirk Hinrich from the FA.

Durant and Lewis wins... easily.

^makes me feel good to have another opinion.
but really, andris+chandler+dwight FT% added together? dont expect a single point from that category.

Man, picked up Milsap a while back and he's been beasting, but with Boozer coming back, What should I be looking to get for him right now?

My players to watch this week...most likely still on FREE AGENCY:

Michael Pietrus - Back from injury and likely to replace Courtney Lee from the starting lineup. He just had 2 great games out of 3...the only okay one beingagainst Cleveland.
Ramon Sessions - Just had a good game and is probably getting back into the mix now that Michael Redd is down.
Nick Collison - Desmond Mason is out for the season. Collison is a double double machine with playing time.
Wilson Chandler - Looks like he is mad about being benched and has produced numbers ever since.
Nate Robinson - His shooting slump is over. Period. GRAB NOW.
Luke Ridnour - He's been pretty solid for almost a month now. He throws dimes all day.
Raja Bell - Gerald Wallace looks like he'll be down for a while...but even with Wallace there, Bell has produced numbers since the trade. Remember that heused to play for Larry Brown when he was a 76er so he'll have his chance to play. He just scored 27 the other day.

Thanks Kobe
