Pujols is 0-8 in this series...........This team has just given up on everything. ill stay just to watch W4L blow his brains out

Today is a big day. We need to see how Harden does with his arm so we can rest easier.

And then Z again tomorrow first game after the no no. I hope he throws 75 pitches and they pull him.

Win today, win tomorrow, sit those two for the rest of the regular season. Maybe have them throw an inning or two in relief to keep their arms active, but nomore heavy inninngs. For that matter, pull Dempster too. Lotta inninnigs for that guy this year, we need his arm to hold up for yet another month.

After last night, I'll let go of 100. Just friggin set the rotation up, get Fuku back on track somehow and win some damn games in October.

Thanks man. I know it must suck not having anything to play for in September for the 2nd straight year. Don't worry your team will bounceback next year. Wait a second after thinking about it no they won't.

Too bad Yuku was being a %%$$%....I was going crazy when Geo hit the 3 run bomb! Braun just looked up..didnt take a step.

Brewers had runners on 2nd and 3rd with nobody out in the top of the 12th, and did not score.

Let's win this game !!

WildKcat, you really think Volequez (sp) will get ROY over Soto?

I had actually thought Soto was gonna be a runaway winner, but I saw your awards thread and damn if I didn't completely forget about your dude. You thinkyou're guy will get enough love? Cuz Soto is downright killin it. Caught a no hitter, then caught a 1 hitter, clutch as it gets for a catcher, and hassolid numbers across the board. Some of the Cubs have even gone to say that he would be the MVP of their team this season. Maybe a little lip service there, but you get the point.

Good win today. Poor Harden never gets the W's.

Oh well, aslong as we do I don't care.

i don't know, it's really hard to say, especially comparing a pitcher to an everyday player for the same award. probably can't go wrong witheither. Volquez has 3 more starts (including tonight) and if he wins those, he'll be 19-5 and I say that would lock up the award for EV.

but Soto's contributions leading to y'alls success will definitely benefit him as far as the award goes, so who knows. like i said, both will be goodchoices. i'm just happy that we have 2 of the top 3 candidates for the ROY in Volquez and Votto, something to build on.
