, I never considered Zbo the best PF in the game at the beginning of the season or not even for the majority first part of the season. My argument was more about him being better than Kevin Love and a better fit for us than Pau.
Now, there should be no question about him being better than Love. Pau is having a hard time being better than his own brother in the playoffs, let alone be better than Zbo at this point.

I think Lawson laid down the blueprint on beating Westbrook. You don't have to dominate him offensively. But, just blow by him a couple of times and he well try too hard to not be shown up. That will lead to him trying to take over a game which leads to turnovers and low shooting percentages.

Blueprint tho? Lol. The Thunder didn't lose because of his poor decisions at times.

I guess the Pacers made a blueprint on containing Rose too then. Jeez.

i feel dirty every time i agree with this man..

RealSkipBayless Skip Bayless
Worst thing that happened to Thunder was DRose running away with MVP. Westbrook trying to BE Rose. But Rose doesn't have KEVIN DURANT!

You are too funny. Lol.

The Nuggets showed how to exploit a weakness in the Thunder. They weren't talented enough to beat them, but that does not preclude another team from taking advantage of existing information.

i seent it tho. Russy was OD yesterday.

cant have that boy playing like Monta in the playoffs.

I want to hear Im Not You come in here and talk about how its still going to work out and how OKC suppose to beat Memphis in 4.

OKC is a great team, but I still think they lack great coaching and ball movement. The ball movement thing is a result of Russell Westbrook. When Maynor came into the game yesterday, I believe he found two open men for 3's. He looks for the open man. Westbrook has been like this his entire career and don't expect him to just up and change. I heard someone mention that Perk didn't know Marc could hit the midrange jumper. What kinda game film did Brooks give this team?

Like Skip said, Rose winning MVP was probably the worst thing to happen for OKC. Westbrook needs to be on a team where its "HIS" team. People are still blinded by the flashiness of the team having two star caliber players instead of looking at what works best. I'm not saying trade him now, but if its the same thing next season you need to fix it. Now, they are facing a team that is very capable of beating them so its going to show more than ever. Even if they advance to the WCF and end up playing LAL, they will suffer.

Did you and I watch the same game yesterday? Obviously there were other factors involved but Westbrook's questionable decision making was at the forefront for the Thunder's loss yesterday.

And the Pacers did give a "blueprint" on containing Rose. Put someone long and athletic on Rose and force him make jump shots. The result was this.

Ty Lawson and the Nuggets didn't exploit a weakness. Ty Lawson did what he was supposed to do as a basketball player going against any PG. Being aggressive against your defender is not a blueprint, it should be a reason why you play and are good at basketball. Players that need to be reminded about being aggressive aren't doing their jobs correctly.

Telling Mike Conley to dominate Westbrook as the blueprint to beating Westbrook? I think the Grizz would rather tell Randolph and Gasol to dominate the inside as the blueprint to winning.

Forefront? The Thunder's inability to defend Randolph and Gasol consistently inside and outside was the main reason to be honest. Turnovers hurt too (thanks to Westbrook), but you gotta give props to the Grizz for not turning the ball over themselves too.

Yeah, and Westbrook (29-8-6) put up good looking inefficient stats like Rose too.

We can advance stats this *%# but Bulls fans scare me...

So, you telling me that attacking Westbrook doesn't make him not want to go into hero mode? The guy doesn't want to get shown up. Conley was just playing smarter than him. You could tell by how tight Westbrook playing him that he wanted to get a steal so he could do some flashy **+ dunk.
The guy had 7 turnovers yesterday to Conley's 0. Westbrook was bumping the hell out of Conley in the post trying to get in the paint and got called for an offensive foul one time when it should've been a few times.

He plays like he's on the playground going 1 on 1 with his arch rival. I know Westbrook has been watching TV.
laugh.gif
If he's the guy I think he is, he will try to give Durant the ball ALL THE TIME and act like he don't care about the game. He will just sit back and see if Durant can look bad just to show people that he has a reason to be the way he is. Westbrook will either do that, or continue his ways.

I'm not blaming the loss solely on Westbrook. There were a lot of things that went wrong for OKC. But, that's why I said coaching is another problem. Your starting center should know everything about the opponent's starting center. How in the hell you don't know he can shoot a midrange jumper? You fool.

I forgot where I got it from, but I was dying.
