OFFICIAL 2010-2011 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD : VOL. MOST. ANTICIPATED. PLAYOFFS. EVER?

After another intense three-on-three game in practice today, Delonte West and Von Wafer got into a fist fight in the locker room.

Punches were thrown and the players had to be separated. The Celtics are considering releasing West, who is on a non-guaranteed contract.

Sources say that Wafer tried to walk away but West followed him into the locker room and threw the first punch. Doc and vets aren't happy.

the Pistons. so obvious it's the Pistons.

Perhaps I should have crafted a better post.

The comment of stunning was directed towards Greg Monroe not playing because of lack of energy.

The T-Wolves/Kahn comment was related towards their gripe over the Martell Webster trade.

Good day sir.

Let him go, it's not worth the 'I did LeBron's mom' angle if it means having to deal with this all season.

UPDATE: TrueHoop's Henry Abbott spoke to sources around the NBA on Thursday and none thought the Timberwolves had a case.

"We're all laughing about it," says one front office executive, who expressed no sympathy for Minnesota's reported position. "You can't watch the freaking playoffs? That was a pretty obvious incident, right on national TV."

----

Martell Webster underwent surgery Monday to repair a herniated disc in his back and he's expected to miss four to six weeks.

Webster was acquired from Portland for the No. 16 selection, Luke Babbitt, in the 2010 draft and the Star Tribune is reporting that the Timberwolves have asked the NBA to investigate whether the Blazers knew that Webster had a balky back, but did not disclose the injury.

According to the newspaper, the Timberwolves may ask for a draft pick as compensation.
