Yup.

Dammit Bengie. Flannery wasn't waving you in.
On the replay, Flannery was clapping when he saw Bengie head for home.

On that Nate Shierholtz hit and where DeRosa was out at home by 3-4 steps, what's your thoughts on Flannery waiving in DeRosa? I know you got the pitcher on deck and you don't want to depend on him to get a hit to drive in DeRosa, but that play wasn't even close. Like I said before, DeRosa was out by 3-4 steps. At least get the pitcher up that inning.

for the Mets series it goes

Sanchez vs. Pelfrey

Wellemeyer vs. Santana

Lincecum vs. Perez

i can see the Giants losing this series if Sanchez does not win tomorrow. Although Wellemeyer pitched good against the Phillies he is going up against Santana. Lincecum's start is the only game that we should win.

This Indians announcer had me rolling. I would have loved to hear this guy rant on the 2008, 2009 Giants.
Lincecum Represents Fresh Face of Giants
[h6]By TYLER KEPNER[/h6][h6]Published: May 6, 2010[/h6]

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Take it from Aaron Rowand of the San Francisco Giants, who plays center field behind the most captivating pitcher in baseball. Marveling at Tim Lincecum can be a workplace hazard.

Tim Lincecum, who will face the Mets on Sunday, helped shape a looser Giants clubhouse after the Barry Bonds era. At 25, he also appeals to the younger generation.

“You’ve got to be careful, because the way he throws, you can get caught up sitting back and watching him do his thing,

Good read as I was intrigued throughout the whole article.

It's obvious we all love watching Linccecum pitch, so let's never take this guy for granted. We really are watching one of the best out there.

My boy Nate killin' it.

Anyone see the Timmy sportscenter commercial - edit: i meant before that article?

Great article. As good as we have been playing, its a shame that our offense is going to hold this team back. To quote the great Damon Bruce, we have a pitching staff built to win the World Series, and an offense built to finish 4th in the West.

The team reminds me of the A's of the mid 2000's.

Wasn't really powerful offensively, had the big 3 starters and wouldn't advance in the playoffs.

THe A's had a competent enough offense to at least get them there. The jury is still out if that is the case with ours.

That early 2000s A's team would beat us right now. It'd be a great series but we wouldn't generate enough runs to take the series. I'd expect it to be 3-2 6 games in a row, Romo and Wilson would give up all three
