I think we all just need to accept the fact that barring a miracle, LBJ is getting his first ring... Heat are on top, and they will be for years to come.

True that, but if you told me the Mavs were going back to Miami with a 3-2 series lead and 2 chances to close it out, I would take it. Problem is the Mavs have to win game 4 and 5 and that looks like its going to be tough to do. Not over yet though.

Yeah I came to that realization before the Fianls. There winning this year no matter what. But for the next few years it will be interesting to see who can actually compete with them. I do expect out of the next 4 to at least get two.

It's going to be sad that when this is over people in the media will kill Dirk. At not look at the fact that the Mavs is a good team but there facing a team with the top 2 players in the league and Bosh, who is good but obviously not on Lebron/Wade level.

Oh dude I totally agree.  Mavs needed this W.  I think they need to be up 3-2 to win because NO WAY Miami loses @ home twice in a row.  Mavs still definitely have a chance.  They still need to lose 2 more times.  G4 is the BIGGEST game of Dirk's career. Maybe even Kidds.

I'm not sure if you are inferring that I'm a Lebron stan.  Far from it.  Him coming to Miami was a tough pill to swallow.  I've never liked having a player forced on me by the media and the league PR machine, so I've not really been a LBJ fan from the start although I can appreciate what he does on the floor as a basketball fan.
As far as what he does on the floor, he's just doing what he needs to do to help the team to win when someone else is carrying the scoring load.  Much like what Kobe had to do while Shaq was beasting for those championships.

Plenty of basketball to be played. The Mavs will come back and take the next two games. Just have to limit the turnovers at the crucial time. Not having Haywood out there definitely hurt as the ball were getting tipped away instead of grabbing the ball. Chandler couldn't score in the paint all game long. Hats off to Haslem and Anthony for holding the paint down defensively. The Big 3 did their thing and Chalmers gave the team the spark that Miller and Bibby weren't providing. Game 4 is crucial for the Mavs. If they don't get the W, Miami will be the 2011 Champs.
