This is a tough one....I would say Fred Jackson and Bell. I think Pitt is going to establish their run game after thr bye week and bills is starting an unknown at qb.

I think you just ride out the hot hand for now. He had a good game against Denver and they're d is way better than washingtons

I like the option of "Resets each week to inverse order of standings" when it comes to waviers, gives the good teams a chance to be at the top of the order every other week.

Also, a few pages back I think Freddie Black mentioned a way to increase your wavier odds when you're at the bottom of the list. I tried it out this week and it worked! I was #10 and ended up with everybody I put a claim in for

I missed that. How do you do that?

i dont understand the need to pile up 5 RB's. really hope you have WR depth with losing johnson.

Just a heads up for anyone who needs WR help:  Keenan Allen is listed as the #1 WR on San Diego's depth chart.  Allen played 72 snaps this past week and got numerous looks from Rivers late in the game in critical situations.  This is someone to stash for a couple of weeks until he strings together a couple of good games but has a lot of upside in that offense.

Pick two: Ryan Matthews, Willis McGahee, Lamar Miller, Zac Stacy?

Which two do you think will have the most value long term?

I'm leaning towards McGahee and Miller.

Definitely McGahee and Miller.  There's nobody to challenge McGahee for carries in Cleveland and Miller is clearly the more talented back in Miami.

Mathews cannot stay healthy and Woodhead has already begun to take away his touches.  I wouldn't go near anybody on the Rams offense right now.

I know I might lose with Thomas possibly going off but I was hurting at RB because I had Bradshaw, Jackson and Starks all hurt but I figured I won by getting rid of Ryan since he lost Julio and possibly roddy for a couple of weeks

Even with healthy weapons I still see this as an upgrade from Ryan to Luck.  You did good to re-balance the depth at RB and WR.

Lacy is the bell cow in Green Bay, no doubt about it.
 

It's been reported Spiller was spotted still walking around with a limp today so F-Jax will continue to be the man on goal line carries.

I wouldn't trust Bell until Pittsburgh shows a re-commitment to the run.

I liked him before the news about Austin practicing and still like him this week.  However, I don't like him more than V-Jax against the Eagles; they are dead last in points given up to WRs.

Often you will need to put in multiple waiver requests for the same player to optimize your waiver strategy and carefully plan the order. For example let's say there are 3 players you are interested in off waivers we will call them W1, W2, and W3 for simplicity with W1 being the most desirable. Let's say you only have two guys you are willing to drop, we'll call them D1 and D2, with D1 being the first guy you want to drop and D2 being a guy you'd rather keep if you can only get one waiver guy. Your waiver request should go like this:

1. Add W1 drop D1
2. Add W2 drop D1
3. Add W3 drop D1
4. Add W2 drop D2
5. Add W3 drop D2

The first time it goes through the waiver list it will try to add W1 if available, if he's gone it will try to add W2, and if he is unavailable it will add W3 and in any of the cases D1 will get dropped. If all 3 are gone before it gets to you then you don't drop anyone. Then the second time through the list D1 is already dropped so the first 3 options are not possible so it will start with option 4 checking to see if W2 is available and if he is he will be added to your team and if not it will check for W3. If either are added it will drop D2. If none of them are available then D2 stays on your team. The possible outcomes are that you get two of the three guys you want and drop both D1 and D2, you get one of the three and only drop D1, or you get none of them and both D1 and D2 stay on your team.

thats a really nice deal. sucks to lost DT, but Ryan is going to be BAD without julio.

Miles Austin is practicing and is likely to play (as of now). Big time boom or bust call with Williams. I'd personally play VJax

I really didn't do the trade I just wanted to see what some instant reactions would be

He needs a RB so I was thinking about offering him Gio and James Jones for Jordan Cameron and Ridley. Then I would trade Greg Olsen to this guy for Steven Jackson.

Randle is an option but there are others as well

Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, Greg Little, Kendal Wright, Denarius Moore or Terrance Williams. All these are soild long term but I'd avoid Allen and Moore because of the defenses they are playing. I'd go with 1.Terrance Williams 2. Ruben Randle.

I have Calvin, jordy Nelson, Danny amendola, and josh Gordon... I felt my recieving core was a lot stronger than my rb and the losing Johnson wouldn't make much of a difference compared to gaining gio.. Esp with the way schuab is playing
