OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

my updated roster after putting in work on the waiver wire..
wink.gif

QB - Russell Wilson
RB - Arian Foster
RB - Stevan Ridley
WR - Danny Amendola
WR - Golden Tate
TE - Coby Fleener
Flex - Tavon Austin

Bench
QB - Josh Freeman
RB - Christine Michael
WR - Brandon Gibson
WR - Cordarrelle Patterson
WR - Mike Williams
TE - Rob Housler

K - Dan Bailey

Defense - St. Louis Rams

any thoughts? The one thing I see is RB depth. I've scoured the wire, next step is maybe a trade..
Tyler Eifert is still on waivers too.. Was thinking about maybe swapping Gibson for Eifert, potentially as a trade chip later on.. thoughts?
id honestly try and get another rb theres no way 3 TE's should ever be carried on a standard fantasy team.

Gonna study this thread since my draft is Aug 28.

My team name is the The DecepDesean's. So proud I came up with that myself :lol

Anyone commissioner of their work fantasy league? The guy who usually does it for our department only has been out all week. I'm tempted to just send a company wide email and see what happens. Is it hard to deal with coworkers when it comes to this? Should I make it a money league?
My main $ league is with coworkers and we've been playing for 4 years. In my league we have a Commissioner and a Co-commissioner. We haven't had any problems with the league and its still going strong. We typically have 12 or 14 teams depending who wants to play. Its only a $75 to join in. Its fun when money is involved.
I ended up finding one to join at work. 20 buy in.

My do not draft list consists of any saints and packer WR, Darren McFadden, Andre Johnson, miles Austin. I'll take a chance on some other injury prone guys but not any of them and the saints and the Packers spread it around too much.

Oh and Jermichael Finley and Mike vick

why wouldnt you draft any of the WR on teams with the best QBs? im taking colston in every league i can if he drops to late 3rd/early 4th

More a hunch than anything.

Stewart, Levitre, Warmack, Roos form a solid offensive line. Locker can't throw. CJ2K is a big play threat up there with Charles.

dont know if he will be as good as charles but if you can get him as your rb2 could be nice. only trouble is his adp in 12-14 team leagues is mid second round. there are wr in that area that you might be better off taking. alot depends on your first pick and if your willing to gamble on him as your rb1. if he has a big year your team can look like megatron , cj2k , cobb , mjd. lots of upside but low floor also.  lol

14 team PPR league, 4pts per Passing TD, 6pts per TD, 1 PPR. I had the 14th pick.

QB- Romo
WR- Dez
WR- Emmanuel Sanders
RB- Eddie Lacy
RB- Shane Vareen
TE- JImmy Graham
OP- Daryl Richardson

Bench-
Vincent Brown
Kenny Britt
Kenbrell Thompkins
Christine Michael
Michael Floyd
Zach Sudfeld
Travis Kelce

Didn't pick up a kicker or d/st yet. Will do match ups.

Jimmy Graham, Colston, James Jones/Cobb/Nelson are in perfect situations though. There QBs are going to throw the ball at least 50 times per game. Just on targets alone that's very hard to pass up regardless of them spreading it around.

And I also expect Dre, Run DMC, and Miles to be healthy for the majority of the season.

I'll give you Finley and Vick though :lol

you mean to tell me that mcfadden will stay heathy this year.

last year he missed 4 games and got hurt in first qtr of another ( which kills you )year b4 missed 9 games , before that 3 , before that 4 , before that 3. go back to arkansas and he missed games every year also. so this year he will stay healthy. so in a 12 team league he is going late 3erd - mid 4th  the same area as vjax , welker , whitten , gore.  not even close to pull the trigger on him my friend.

I said "majority of the season" so if he plays 12 out of 16 games that means the majority of the season, correct? I know his injury history, which dates back to Arkansas, but I think he'll finally be able to pull it all together this year. No where did I say anything about drafting him in the 3rd or 4th round either. Hell, I didn't even make an outlandish statement like "draft DMC, he's going to have a monster year." So miss me with the BS my friend.

now that we are both friends

here is what i was trying to say....12 out of 16 games still kill ya , throw in the bye week and your in big trouble. your rb3 now becomes rb2 and rb3 mite become rb1 on a bye week. where he is being drafted is not worth the risk for me.

agree to disagree......but at least we are still friends.

I'm not gonna lie, this might be one of the worst fantasy teams I've ever seen.
