OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

Idk man...I feel like Percy is gonna atleast get a TD vs his old team. Dude is good to go health wise as far as I've heard.
If you strongly feel like he could then check your projected matchup for this week. If you're projected to win then I'd just go with the guys who are going to get you consistent numbers, if you're projected to lose then I could see why you're looking for a big play TD out of him. I'm a Harvin owner myself and I'm being catious, but it's your call man.

Well what if you had Hou def.

he didnt make or break that defense.

arizona, carolina, st louis, Cleveland were all better scoring defenses than houston.

I'm projected to win either way...I think he's worth the risk. They've held him out for the past three weeks, I don't think they'd but him out there against a crappy Vikings team unless they really knew he was ready to go. I just don't know whether to sit Keenan or Gio for him.

8 of the 12 teams in my main PPR league are bunched up together, essentially fighting for the last 4 playoff spots--top 2 teams are 9-1 and 8-2 and pretty much have the bye locked up.

3rd place: 6-4

4th-7th place: 5-5

8th-10th place: 4-6

I'm in 7th and facing the 3rd place team this week.  Think I'm going to roll with this lineup:

QB Newton

RB Woodhead, Vereen

WR Marshall, Cooper

TE Wright (may try to pick up and play Delanie Walker)

FLEX Harvin

D/ST Bill D/ST (or stay with Bucs if n/a)

K Vinatieri

BENCH Bernard, CJ?K, Ivory, D. Johnson, Allen, S. Johnson, Boldin

What do y'all think?

which defense should I scoop up from these (I have Green Bay atm :x)

Houston (vs. Oakland)
Baltimore (@ Chicago)
Tampa Bay (vs. Atlanta)
New Orleans (vs. San Francisco)
Philadelphia (vs. Washington)

Kind of leaning towards Houston since they'll be at home as well. Philadelphia is a sleeper though 8o haha

I'd go with Houston. Pryor's knee isnt 100%.

How is this trade-
I give: Charles, Dobson, Rivers
I get: Brees, B. Marshall

I need a legit WR1. I also have RG3, Lacy, Woodhead, Morris, Keenaan, Cooper, Roddy

Flex is only W/T so having 4 legit RBs is unnecessary. Im willing to part with Charles to upgrade my WR and get a consistent QB. His team is 2-8 so he wants to make moves

Should I play panthers D this week vs Brady or pick one up the waivers? They've been dominant lately

I'd pick up a defense, Buffalo or Jets or San Diego is who i'd target.

Brady and Belicheck with a week to prepare for a Carolina team that isn't impressive offensively...RIP.

I'm taking Carolina's D over the Pats this week. Could be a small gamble but that front 7 is truly impressive...

Pick two...standard league no PPR

Gio Bernard vs Browns
Percy Harvin vs Vikings
Keenan Allen vs Dolphins

Allen and Bernard.

I need to see if Harvin has anything to contribute before I play him. Don't be suckered into the "well it's his old team he's gonna ball out" bull crap you're gonna hear. He's coming off a major injury and it's his first game action, he's gonna be rusty.

That Dolphins secondary is pretty nice though. I'm worried about Grimes and those safeties on Keenan. Even though they lost against Tampa it damn sure wasn't the secondary's fault.

I would rank them like this:

Houston > Tampa Bay ≥ New Orleans > Philadelphia > Baltimore

Giants not available?  I see them repeating their nice performance against Green Bay.  G-Men have quietly been very good vs. the run and that's the focal point of the Packers' offense at this point in time.

I would do it.  It's hard to part with Charles but you're getting fair value back.  I like it less in standard scoring, love it in PPR.
Pick 3 - Hilton, Gordon, Cooper, Allen

PPR
I think how you listed them is the way I would rank them this week.  Maybe switch Cooper (low floor/high ceiling) with Allen (higher floor/tempered ceiling).

My bench is way too deep right now. Trying to upgrade anything at this point to get ready for the playoffs. Although I think Matt Ryan is gonna come back around finish the season strong against a weak schedule to close out the season I wouldnt be opposed to trying to upgrade at QB.

But Ive got

Colston

Le'Veon Bell

Ryan Mathews

Steven Jackson

And now Tim Wright since he was just my FA pick up for Gronks byelast week

I could use another RB2 or WR2 (or 1s if you guys think I could swing it) to make my decision for starters every week a little less complicated. Dez obviously goes back to starting once the bye is over.

Its a 12 team league. And my lineup looks like this. I kept the positions so you can see the starting spots. Just looking for some suggestions for who I should go after.

looking to trade Gore for either:

V.Jax

Bryant

Jeffrey

I like Jeffrey but the QB issues with TB and CHI have me leaning toward offering Gore for Bryant, any thoughts?
